... Accessing DBY colony logs... ERROR, FILE CORRUPTION. FORMATTING, CHECKING FOR SALVAGABLE DATA ... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome! Your request for governmental permission to purchase a colony module has been ACCEPTED. As you are surely aware, Purchase of a module is a MUST if one wishes to create an independent, Gungnir certified colony. The following modules are available for purchase. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GUNGNIR Ypsilon SALP KRUG Vector Riven Jeffersons Black Mil- Military Ind- Industry Tech- Science The modules only provide a starting point, anybody can turn their empire into anything from anywhere, given time. Also, I'm only accepting well written colonists and or people I know I can trust, other than that, essentially pick a company and drop in a description. EDIT: This will work the same way as the old Hex did, Gungnir is just the company/empire that the colonists are coming from to start a new life. Each Module gives all the basic equipment and personal to start a company, and the Ind Mil Tech indicate any bonus equipment the colony starts out with. The Modules/Companies will have no other impact onto the game other than colors and symbols, unless you wish to make your own. To join, simply... 1. Pick a Company 2. ???? 3. Profit If there a clashing companies, pick different colors. |

What's with Gungnir? Anyways, I don't know how these stats modulate, so I'm picking something between what I want [Sci/Ind] I'm frankly embarrassed. |

I don't quite understand what's going on. Seems neat though. I pick Krug, because industry. I'm an indistrial man. My father worked the space-docks, his father worked the space-docks, and his father worked regular docks. I'll be damned if I, Jameson Dospac, will muddle the family line and not make this colony about space-docks. |

Quote: Overcaptain Hjammerdein "My creed is simple and my words direct." "My life is for you, my beloved nation." "All those who will march with me 'till their feet tear open into muscle, who will spit gore into the face of the ungodly foe; they are my chosen. I am the Overcaptain. I will put this world to flames and forge it all anew, so that we may be free of want, and peace will reign forever among men." Black. |

I'm reserving a slot, character in a moment. Jacob Greene SALP Corporation "Everyone knows that you need industries to get anywhere. An army, too. Especially in army. I like to bring a new meaning to military industrial complex. If you can successfully replicate military discipline and put it into the workforce, well, expect workers who are very, very eager to work. You see, you need a strong military to protect your industries, and you need a strong set of industries to power the military. Both depend on the other, and if you can tame both beasts, your gonna have one hell of a time." I've had trouble getting the description made since there ain't a character template. Foa wrote: What's with Gungnir? Apparently its the spear of Odin. TheKebbit wrote: Reserving a slot with Black, character will arrive later. Looks like we both have the same game philosophy EDIT : Switched from Black to SALP. |

By the looks of it, the Companies have 4 points, and they are generally divided... Krug for example has 4 Ind Ypsilon has 2 Ind, 2 Sci |

Count me in. I'll take Riven. Quote: Riven: Prestige through Persistence Sigurd Jarlsson "Dead to me. You are now officially dead to me." A steely gaze from behind the black void of places where there should be eyes. “I shall not tolerate any slacking, hesitation, or inaccuracy.” A flick of the wrist and your life is forfeit. “Leave. Do not return.” A standard EVA. “Bring in the next failure.” Minus some unnecessary weight. “I have some stern words for him.” Oxygen is simply too valuable to waste. |

Huh, I went for a more of a minimalistic approach when I posted this, looks like I screwed up with that Q_Q So, let me clarify with more minimalism. This will work the same way as the old Hex did, Gungnir is just the company/empire that the colonists are coming from to start a new life. ???? 3. Profit Also If there a clashing companies, pick different colors. Also also, dumping this into the OP |
