Welcome to Tales of the Gods.

In Tales of the Gods you play a leader of a colony sent to Tatar to explore and colonize the land for your home country.
Setting sail in your ships you begin the journey. On the good will of the winds you arrive at Tatar in good time.

Setting info:
Humans make up the majority of the people on the planet of Keln. Their place amongst the stars under the gaze of various gods. The humans sail driven ships sail the world discovering new lands. The discovery of gunpowder 15 years ago has lead to the invention of the firearm. though unreliable and slow some say its the future others still think theyre gimmicks that will die out soon enough.

The Old gods have begun to fall out of favor however many still retain a slight link to their spiritual side.
Teru - The god of earth. images depict him as a giant, flesh made of plants and earth.
Lera - The god of life. Images depict him as a ageless man in white robes.
Aes - The god of air. Oft depicted as a large male reclining on a cloud.
Tia - The goddess of water. depicted as a shark or a dolphin depending on the context. Sleek and tall.

Every colony team is well equipped:
1 lightly armed Cruiser class ship.
2 corvette vessels. Posessing a moderate armament of a single 9 cannon deck (3 forward, 3 to each side)
190 settlers.
60 Swordsmen.

Resources:


You can choose your home nation and are free to add a background.

Select 1 of the following bonuses for your colony:
Nation of Mind (+10 Priests)
Nation of Might (+10 swordsmen)
Nation of Greatness (+10 laborers)

And one of the following god.
Teru - Earth
Lera - Life
Aes - Air
Tia - Water
Fior - Fire
Nok - Death
Or a combination of the two (ill give you the name, too many combinations to list)
Or None. If none all priests become laborers.

Your maker on the map will be a Colored Hex. note what color you want on your sheet.
Adding a flag is optional.

(feel free to upload your own hex, heres a template http://imgur.com/qPuvz)
In Tales of the Gods you can make 5 actions per turn, each will be carried out by your colony.
Eg:
"Build a grand house for your colonies leader"

Then i would reply with how the roll goes. Rolls can be influenced by your villagers, more laborers = more building power.

Select a landing zone (A-J ill remove these markers from the 2nd pic onwards.)

Blackbeard's pirate gang arr-ive on the island and begin to set up basic shelters "What now boss?"



Jahn's Freehold

The men of Jahn land upon the eastern peninsula. The plains land forms a smooth hill and the mountains can be seen off in the distance. The ships begin to unload cattle, sheep, oxen and all the supplies.


Ilek-Vad
The men of Ilek-Vad Arrive at the south western edge of the great forest. a beach stretches for miles down the coast and a mountain range serves for a dramatic backdrop. The first settlers unpack their belongings.


Artysa
The Artysians arrive at the most northern point of the island, a small mountain range reaches to the sky towards the south while a great forest covers the land to the east.

Build a temple that can be marveled by all
15 soldiers to equip flintlock and 15 soldiers to equip swords, these are the guards atm
The rest of the soldiers to practise with swords
Get farmers to plough feilds with oxen
Get priests to sacrifice a sheep for the goddess Tia

Get the boys to set up a dock for the ships, along with a shipyard for ship repair.

Let the settlers go settle. Have the miners and prospectors work together for maximum productivity.

Order the farmers to farm.

Have a number of swords men on all of my ships.

Get those pioneers working on a small town capable of sustaining a thriving navy.

Chop down trees to clear land, and to use as resource.

Start building homes w/ the logs collected.

Set up farms.

Build tall fortress.

Get a small number of pioneers to begin exploring the land in a 2 mile radius.
