> "Outpost... Yeah, I really should get some sleep at some point."

Mist: "Thank you. What was your name?"

???: "Calhan."

You, Mist, and Aucupe enter the tent, and you/Whirlwind remove the left armored shoulder piece. Taking a look around, numerous foldable tables covered with various books and bottles form a border around a long blanket-covered table in the center.

Resting on the table is Tara, lying on her back with her eyes closed, wearing a simple large white robe. Around the long table are various pieces of bloody clothing and armor, and in between you and the table is the blonde woman, her back to you.

Out of no where, your left arm starts moving as if someone had it grasped in their hands. The flesh in your shoulder wriggles and the wound knits itself closed after the bones align properly and fuse with the correct fragments.

After all the weird movement stops, you carefully move your arm on your own to test it out, and it seems to be perfectly healed.

???: "A deep gash on her thigh. Blood loss caused her to lose consiousness."

The woman is on her knees with her arms resting on the table and her head on her arms, still facing away.

???: "I'm guessing there weren't any other survivors?"

> You wait for the dragon to lower itself and give you an opening to grab Sanguis, but it turns its head around, knocks the new guy off of it with a blast of air, and grabs onto Sanguis with its jaws. The blade quickly comes out as its yanked, and he green dragon flicks its head and tosses Sanguis into the side of a building, where it bounces off and falls to the ground.

The dragon turns back to face your allies towards its front, still on its hind legs.

You feel a bit... funny.

> You fire a kinetic blast at the dragon, but with your distance and the amount of energy you put it, in doesn't seem to have any effect.

The dragon turns its head around, knocks someone off of its tail, and pulls a sword out of the base of its tail and flicks the blade into the side of a building, where it bounces off and falls to the ground.

It then turns around, still on its hind legs, to face you and your allies, while Koa raises her only hand up and a light briefly flickers in her palm.

Dash underneath the dragon to it's hopefully exposed belly. Once I reach my destination, fire off a bolt into the hopefully undefended sector.

There's a pause while you wait for her to elaborate, but it doesn't seem like she's going to explain further. You take the time to stare at the back of her robe, which has an emblem stitched in the back with red thread.

Mist: "We weren't there for long, there might have been others."

???: "Hm."

The blonde woman slowly stands up, and then turns around. Her white mage's robe extends to the middle of her thigh, black pants that look like they're designed for running and vigorous activity, and a white button-down cotton shirt.

Her greenish-blue eyes scan over you, Mist, and Aucupe for a minute before resting on the bloody sword hilt sticking up from Mist's back.

???: "You don't want to hold that bloody sword for long. The blood on it is tainted, and the wielder of the blade will hunt you down if she finds out you have it."

> It's a long run, but you manage to run all the way to Sanguis, pick it up, and activate something within it.

A red aura flows out of the sword like numerous tendrils and wrap around your wounded arm. The wounded flesh starts to move on its own, closing itself and currectly positioning the muscles. When the aura dissipates, you find your arm completely healed, and your body no longer battered.

> You take to the air and fly to the right around dragon. However, the instant you get in the air, it seems to be looking at you and already has its wings raised. When you quickly fly over it to strike it on its left shoulder, the dragon's wings drop in a heart beat and you're flung away by a blast of air.

Somersaulting around, you twist your body and manage to land safely on the ground. You watch as the large armored wolf creature shoves a human, while the dragon's scaly fist descends and the wolf vanishes under it. When the dragon lifts its hand up, there's a large splotch of gore on the ground with various flattened pieces of metal.

Stay out of the air!

> You dash under the dragon while it flaps its wings once, and see that the scales on its underside are a pale-yellow with random dark spots, instead of the sickly green that covers the topside of the dragon.

You fire your crossbow into the belly of the beast, and the crossbow penetrates the scales, but the bolt doesn't go any deeper than half way in. The dragon looks down and brings its left arm up, and you feel something slam into you and push you out of the way just in time as a green scaly fist hits the ground behind you.

Tumbling along the ground, you slow down to a stop and scramble to your feet. Where you once stood, the dragon's fist rises, revealing flattened metal plates on the ground along with masses of gore.

The sun is starting to set, the sky turning a field of orange with pink clouds. It is now that you start noticing activity in the towers around the spire, with dark shapes moving about the streets and shadows shifting in the windows of nearby towers. The spire itself remains inactive.

> You charge at the dragon with Sanguis held ready. It looks like Kyros has it distracted, so close the distance to the dragon without issue, leap up towards the side of the dragon's chest above its arm, and drive Sanguis deep in until only the hilt is visible.

You're not sure what you do, but the sword responds to your will to attack. Ten tendrils form the beginning of Sanguis's blade that you can feel as if they were your own limbs, and you force them into the green dragon, puncturing muscles and blood vessels. You assume you hit something vital when blood starts spewing out, forcing out Sanguis and spraying globs of foul smelling blood all over you. You fall down and back up, wiping off your face. Something collides with the green dragon, knocking it down as a clawed liimb passes dangerously close over your head, barely missing. A large green wing falls from the sky and slaps you into the ground.

Conditions :
- Haste (+2 Speed, Ends in 1 Turn)
- Bruised (-1 Movement)

> You fly a large distance away from the dragon and then speed towards it. The dragon already has its chest puffed, and you quickly drop in altitude to dodge a large column of shredding air that roars from the dragon's maw.

Closing distance as you zip along the ground, you close your wings and grab your sword. Slamming your feet into the ground and powering them to keep them braced, you force all of your forward momentum into rotational force, ripping apart the ground as you whip your sword out in front of you so fast the air glows a faint orange and screams as it passes over and under your energized blade.

A flash of light appears which you assume is the beam, because it vanishes in a heartbeat and a massive bloody line appears on the dragon, starting from the dragon's right shoulder and ending right before it reaches the thigh.

You then see Gustaf madly charging at the dragon from its right flank and jumping forward toward, planting a sword deep into the right side of the dragon's chest above the arm. The dragon lets out a roar, and it looks like its about to swipe at Gustaf with an arm, but a large black and red thing falls from the sky and hits the dragon.

It is now that you realize how close you are to the green dragon, and a large green wing descends and slaps you into the ground.

- Haste (+2 Speed, Ends in 1 Turn)

> You run back to Feiar, who is standing by the blue-clad chirop you met earlier. Turning around to watch the dragon, you see a large black shape fall on it from above, knocking it into the ground. It looks like another dragon, except about one third of the size, jaws around the green dragon's neck.

The green dragon sluggishly tries to shake the black dragon off, but its movements soon stop and its head slumps down.

Conditions :
- Haste (+2 Speed, Ends in 1 Turn)
