While Rosa and Eigla load the cart up with all sorts of tools, Klimt takes a look around the workshop. Plenty of steel pipes lie in a corner, still surprisingly pristine. He figures they could work well as reinforcement.

Converting each of his limbs into tendrils, he begins inserting the metal rods into them, in place of the bones he once had. He feels... Rather stiff, but certainly sturdier. Peggy watches with barely contained interest as he switches back and forth between human and tentacular form, trying to slide his newfound structural features into place.

Looking for more useful materials, he opens a cupboard and- Oh dear, that's a desiccated corpse. Wait. That crate, on its back... Doesn't it look like the ones Eigla and Rosa are always carrying around? Their... Coffins, wasn't it? He lifts a hand to touch it -

ACTIVE BIOLOGICAL MATERIAL DETECTED. RESUMING OPERATIONS.

The coffin detaches from the corpse, makes a whirring sound, then spits out a pristine set of entrails. How... Useful?



The cart seems to be loaded to capacity. That's as many tools as you're getting in one trip, at least.

Rosa and Klimt push the cart, while the others cover the sides. The loot seems light enough that any two of them, minus Peggy, could probably lift and carry it, if needed.

The red wolf follows them all the way through the warehouse, seemingly making no aggressive movements. Once they're close to the door, however, it moves closer, blocking the path.

Redwolf: "Got all you wanted? Good. Three minutes. One for each deer you brought. After that... The hunt is on."

It curls its lips, though you can't be sure if it's a snarl or a smile.

Redwolf: "Generous, don't you think?"

There is a bit of an awkward pause.


Redwolf: "Nnno- I mean, no. What I meant is, I'll give you three minutes. As a head start. Before I start running after you. Got it?"

There is an even longer pause.

Redwolf: "...Are you always this dense."

Peggy: "You shoulda seen the one that stayed at home, she can only talk in squeals and purrs."

The red wolf sits down like a dog, lying its axe flat on the floor.

Redwolf: "I was - *COUGH* *cough* I was going to take your Flesh and turn you into part of my pack, but I'm afraid you'd make for the dumbest wolves in the forest.

So.

I guess I don't know what to do. Killing you and letting you rot seems like a waste. I could let the young wolves eat you, but then they'd probably turn undead and I don't produce enough milk to feed that many at once.
I guess I'm going to let you go? It feels weird. But then, you're weird.

Where the hell do you come from, anyway? How did even make it this far?"
