Meanwhile, Eigla pauses to look at mary, as the sheperdess sets down the blanket and starts working on her abdominal cavity again. She... doesn't have any legs, that much you can see. It seems like she must somehow be attached to the ram, but she's still wearing a simple woolen sash across her waist, stopping you from studying the actual connection.
Grabbing the flesh from the table, the shieldmaiden starts repairing Rosa's hands. It takes quite a bit of effort to convert the abdominal muscles into something useable for grappling, but she manages to pull it off. More or less.
Rosa now has slightly mitten-like hands, with all fingers but the trigger and the thumb fused into a featureless sheet. There were not enough tendons to articulate each separately, it seems, nor was there a way of reattaching the nails.
At least she can use a gun now!

Eigla continues to work on her stock, paying close attention to the clearances involved. She's not too bad at this, for someone who'd never made a crossbow before!
Klimt: "If we were alive this would be sick. But since that's not the case... I think it's something sweet."
Peggy blushes as Klimt takes the hand, biting it tentatively. It's... Surprisingly tasty, once you get through the charred outer layers. One finger at a time, he cracks the bones with his teeth, pulling out chunks like a bear eating a salmon. He has to cough to disguise a small burp as the final bite reaches his stomach.
...Was something supposed to happen? He feels full, but not particularly different from before. He blinks.

She cut off your body. She did not want your mind.
"You've failed the Master one too many times", she said.
You tried to serve. Fit in. You couldn't.
You awoke. You were different, but still you. They had unmade you, then put you back together.
You died.
They threw you to the horde.
"Good idea", they said. They did not want you with them.
You said you needed a distraction, or they'd get you all.
You found them. You tried to escape together. You were cornered.
The dead came. You did not know why, or how. Did the world not want you alive?
They shooed you away.
"You're filthy. Tainted.", they said. They did not want your company.
You ate well for a while.
"Do us a small favour", they said, "and we'll pay you."
He kicked you off his shack. He did not want your help.
"This is the third time you're caught", he said. "You're useless."
You ruled the alleys with your shiv. You got careless.
"Bring me a wallet a day", he said, "and you can live here."
You roamed aimlessly through the rain.
They put you on the street. They did not want to take care of you.
"There is no more space", they said. "Not for the likes of you."
You grew among a hundred other misfits.
They left you on the church stairs. They did not want you.
You were born. You were useless.
