Looking at your mech's diagnostics and silencing several wailing alarms and flashing lights, you see that your right arm is completely blown to hell. It's automatically been sealed off, but it's a wonder that its still attached right now. Your lower torso also took some damage, but it hasn't breached the armor, so your mech is still operational. ♥♥♥♥, the lizards are still advancing.

The HEI rounds on the other hand, detonate, sending waves of burning hot gases and sprays of napalm through the air. The lizard, being an insignificant distance from the explosion, dies immediately. The Barbaroi's thick armor survives the indirect heat from the blasts, and you step back a step to make sure no damage is acquired from lingering heat. Oh ♥♥♥♥, you think you hit Kaime.
