Re: Legends of the Sky Fail Flail, I think at this point our strategy is "Avoid being executed, and get back to our ship." I plan on doing this by activating Sera's other personality, and then, if we need to fight, having our two magically inclined people use spells near her to keep giving her more magic to use. Then we kinda wing it from there back to the ship. Not much planning we can really do about that.
