When your eyes adapt to the new scene, you see that you've arrived on the ground level of the building. The light sandy stone walls are perfectly intact while the massive windows are all blown out, flooding the area with warm sunlight.

Except for glass shards on the ground and up-turned benches, the level looks clear, and almost peaceful.

The bat-creature heads towards the wooden double doors at the front of the building and opens them up, letting in more light, and puts hits weapons away.

Kyros: "We've gotten out of the tunnels. Where to next?"

You sit down and relax with the dragon setting itself down beside you, while you reflect on your past experiences: Jumping through portals, killing mutated soldiers, fighting mages, getting fried by your buddy Cihas, messing around with magic scrolls, finding the Black Dragon, killing a giant, and wandering through sewers.

Trying to sum up all your experiences into a lesson, the gears in your mind whirl for several seconds, and suddenly, it hits you:

Fire hurts. A lot.

Carefully allowing the Kinetic Sphere to slow down before releasing control, you distinguish the spell and draw Giibi's shortsword in your offhand.

Walking towards the closed wooden double doors and pushing them open, you're met with a grassy field, and not too far off is a short wall. Looks like you're at the edge of the city. The only unusual things in sight is the cracks and rubble around the wall and occasional bodies here and there in the field, but nothing seems dangerous. Putting away your weapons, you relax yourself and address the others.

"We've gotten out of the tunnels. Where to next?"

Hakua, Koa, and Ettiin stand beside you, enjoying the air of outdoors.

Also check the Mage stones for any charge, and put it into Andrew's stone. Not hoping for much, but doesn't hurt to check.
Grab a nice looking cloak. Blue if they have it. Also feel out the staves, see what they do. Doubt I'll use them, but hey maybe there'll be a Staff of Basement-Monster Slaying in there.
