I'm surprised none of you have tried to climb onto its back. The hammers on the end of its arms would vastly reduce its chance of being able to get you off without it causing severe structural damage to itself.
And it would look pretty damn awesome.

I'm more well-suited to it than anyone, but if I tried that I'd get a -1 (makes me wonder if those slightly stronger limbs have ANY effect on gameplay at all).

Fire at the same part in the shoulder - might as well cripple the hammer, pretty soon it'll have to resort to ramming us.

Try attacking from the rear. Most armoured vehicles/tanks have weaker armour on the rear then they do on the front.
The weakest armour is usually on the bottom.

I'll try and protect you in a bit, my plating is made to withstand this sort of ♥♥♥♥ anyway. I think I might go for additional strength bonus, sell the rifle/machinegun (not looted but given so HA), then buy a powered melee weapon and wreck ♥♥♥♥.

You might want to aim for the exposed components in its chest, guys. Those seem to be important.

You could always sell gear you dont need, get the strength bonus and a hammer, with any left over points going to either even more strength or to armour. Then you can hit these insectoid machines with your hammer and crush armour and hydraulics alike.
