COUGH COUGH.
So yeah the roll was p terribru.
Ragdollmaster (Troy) [7]:
You fail to overcome your pain, and just lie there on the deck as the others continue fighting.
CharacterMiggles (Robert Wright) [1]:
"Fine."You snatch your arm free and glare at Sedraxis for a moment, before turning towards the ferret.
Just as everything goes to hell.
CharacterFail Flail (Grif Mason) [4]:
"DOWN! PULL THE SHIP DOWN!!!"You quickly reload and fire at ferret, at least hitting this time. Sadly, the shot hits an armor plate, and ricochets harmlessly.
CharacterIzen (Sedraxis) [6]:
Rob, finally agreeing to leave Sera alone, yanks his arm free and glares at you. You let him.
"Here, play with this for a bit, but you have to stay here, okay?"She sniffles, but nods and holds tight onto the toy.
You then turn back towards the ferret just in time to see things go bad.
CharacterMaart3n (Mareikura) [7]:
Seeing that your magic is useless, you run up to the captain's cabin, intending to send the ship going down and yank the ferret out of his spell.
Just as you get your hands on the wheel, things get bad.
CharacterTomaster (James Tiber) [1]:
Attempting to reload, you fumble the round, and go scrambling across the deck to grab it before it can fall off the ship.
Dammit.
CharacterGame Events: Never unseated and only once beholden, the court of the gods has spoken!
Arm of the High Ruler!Everyone freezes, feeling the intensity of his words and waiting for something to happen. Then, it does.
The large magic circle above the ship glows, going from a subtle white luminescence to a brilliant golden light that casts hard shadows against the deck. And from the golden ring, out reaches... a hand. A gigantic hand, big enough to hold two of the ferret in its palm, emerges from the circle. The hand is an ephemeral burning yellow color, and moves quickly downward. The fingers form into a flat palm, and the burning hand of light shoots down into the deck of the ship, spearing it.
A massive hole is created, running a good half the length and a third of the width of the ship, straight down through the deck. And the rest of the ship. And the BOTTOM of the ship.
The boards smoke and char where they contact the arm, and as it retracts more boards splinter and fall free. The ship gives a lurch then slumps forward a bit as the arm pulls free of the ship, lifting up into the air before vanishing into a million motes of light.
Worse, everyone slowly realizes that Troy's arm, the broken one, was in the path of the hand. It is now gone.
Your vessel is gutted! The only thing that now keeps it in the air is my will! Defy me again and I will begin dropping pieces!
