If chanting is essential to his spell, cut off his jaw. He'll find it hard to speak without a mouth.

Pretty hard to cut off his jaw when he's in the air, out of melee range. A cannon round to the chest should, at the very least, stun him.

Won't, actually. All his speech has been telepathic, it doesn't have vocal cords capable of speech.

Ah, right. I guess that's why he doesn't have quotation marks?

Ah well. If everyone dies, does that mean us on the waiting list get a new ship?

If everyone dies I'll be astounded at how they screwed up THAT badly.
If the ship is destroyed it'd be a TPK, and that's not nice. If the ship is thoroughly ♥♥♥♥ up, that'd be a shame.

Hopefully if we pull the ferret out of his unholy magic circle thing it will stop, and as Tomaster said, we also have a (incredibly slim, yet still existent) chance of grabbing Troy if we act fast enough.

I'm finding all of this infighting to be incredibly interesting.

As Caek mentioned earlier, using the girl as a weapon might be the best option here. You probably don't have the collective firepower to stop the ferret from finishing his spell, so you might as well try. And even if whatever happens when you activate her destroys your ship and kills everyone, wouldn't you rather go out on your own terms?

No, not really. I'd rather kill the ferret without having that girl's "condition" activated.

Post Re: Legends of the Sky
Eh sure why not.
I should roll Psychic.

Ragdollmaster (Troy) [5]:
In a daze, you mutter the command to summon yourself back to the ship. A soft green-blue glow suffuses you, and suddenly you pop out of existence, then immediately back into existence on the floor of the Storm Sylph's captain's cabin.
You wonder why you don't hurt any.

Character

Miggles (Robert Wright) [6]:
"No more conflict of interests."
You quickly reach forward and grab the girl's wrist, intending to give her to the damn ferret, by force if necessary.
As you pull her forward, she squeaks in fear and surprise, before coming to a sudden halt. You look down at the strong grip now holding on to YOUR wrist.
"It's a bit late for that, don't you think? I'm going to protect this girl if it's the last thing I do, which it might be."
You try to pull free, but Sedraxis has a definite advantage over you in strength, and you end up going nowhere.
Well, you could always get rough with him.

Character

Fail Flail (Grif Mason) [1]:
"DOWN! PULL THE SHIP DOWN!!!"
You pull out your pistol, firing in the direction of the ferret and missing completely.
You then turn around to go grab Sera and run below deck, and trip over a broken piece of deck, faceplanting.

Character

Izen (Sedraxis) [6]:
"No more conflict of interests."
Rob grabs the girl's wrist and pulls her forward. She gives a squeak of surprise, and quickly looks back at you, eyes full of fear.
God damn kids.
You quickly shoot your own hand forward, grabbing Rob's wrist and stopping him in his tracks.
"It's a bit late for that, don't you think? I'm going to protect this girl if it's the last thing I do, which it might be."
He glares at you and tries to pull free, but you maintain your grip without much trouble. Sera has reached over and grabbed onto your leg with her free hand, her own attempt to keep her out of the fray.

Character

Maart3n (Mareikura) [10]:
You run towards the stairs up to the deck, but stop when you see a gaping hole in the roof leading to open sky. Through that hole, you have a PERFECT view of the ferret, and deciding to save yourself some time, line up for a spell.
Despite your Dark Burn, you gather all your concentration and will it into flame, gathering a ball of concentrated fire in your hands (10 - 4 + 1 = 7). Then, you do it again in the other hand.
And THEN, you jam the two together, forming a slighter larger, significantly more wild and dangerous, ball of flame. You then aim it up at the ferret, and release your hold over the magic. It surges forward the moment it's released, and becomes a larger, more explosive version of your Flame Lance.
The blast of fire shoots upwards, straight for the ferret, and hits... air? It... just hit the air in front of the ferret, as though it were a solid object.
♥♥♥♥. Does it have a shield against magic?

Character

Tomaster (James Tiber) [8]:
Thinking quickly, you sink your sword into the deck of the ship and grab your cannon. You swiftly grab a new round from your bag, silently thanking the woman you bought it from for the idea of putting the gunpowder and the round in the same unit, and load it in. Taking a moment to whisper a quick prayer to no one in particular you fire.
The shot sails up through the air straight at the ferret, though maybe a little lower than you'd like.
It hits the ferret straight in the chest, denting its armor but not penetrating. The ferret makes a noise, and you hear its chanting stutter, then go back a line, but the stupid flying rodent seems otherwise unbothered.

Character

Game Events: Lend me your aid, might the injustice of the world be purified by our hands...
The ferret continues its chanting, not stopped by either Mare's magic or Jame's cannon. It must be getting close to the end of the spell.

Take control of the ship, steer it down and forwards, let's see how the ferret handles being dragged by its shoulder.
