Uh, if you don't know, we just fought a zombie(?)-marauder a little while back. I think that anything with mutated claws qualifies as not natural and probably enemy. But okay, I won't jump the gun.

> If the Marauder makes any sort of hostile movement, dash forward and put my sword to her neck... from there, if she tries to claw me (since these things might not have any sort of sense of self-preservation) chop her head off. On the slim chance that she isn't hostile, gesture for the others to come forward.

Well, judging by her appearance, she IS Corrupted / Mutated, but that does not necessarily make her hostile- and if so, it's in our best interests to find out what we can from her, since her case might not be unique. If we slaughter every Corrupted we come across and some of them are still sentient/intelligent, that seems like unnecessary aggression. This is just my opinion of course.

Walking into the center of the room, you slow down, and your feet strike a blunt object on the ground. Blindly inspecting the object more, you find a strap of some sort and follow it until it leads to a pouch.

Opening it, you stick your hands in and pull out a dimly glowing gem of some sort.

What exactly does accelerated repair do? Because from the name, it sounds like it speeds up the healing process of the body. But if these problems are caused by corruption, aren't you just going to end up speeding up THAT process, making it worse?

I know Koa saved me when I got kinda corrupted, so she could definitely probably fix this problem.

What do you think, xp?

> You hear someone slowly approaching from the other side of the armory, and when they eventually reach the trapdoor, you hear the sound of it opening. Facing the opposite direction and attempting to jumping backwards, you instead half-jump and your foot hits the edge of the opening in the ground. Without proper balance, you fall back, your body hits the ladder, and you awkwardly slide down a narrow, vertical passage.

After much tumbling against the walls of the passage and the ladder, you start falling through open air momentarily before a blast of air cushions your descent and rests you gently on the ground.

With your fireball still in hand, you see that you've fallen into a room about the size of the armory above ground, but your corner of the basement appears completely empty. Turning your head to the right, you see a small white object on the ground at the edge of your light.
