I could go to him and threaten him that if he doesn't let my great-great-great-great-great-grand-papy in, he'll pay.

Re: Roll to Dodge - Mecha
Hey mangs, I'm fine with visiting wherever Yolady's house is. Hell, with all this knowledge of the future from reading these RtDs, he probably survived the apocalypse and is camping in his house with a sniper rifle and a near endless supply of canned ham. Also, rolling.
HighEndNoob Pierre Berguard [6]: You pretend that you didn't fall off your bed, and get up and dressed. Then you head out and off to the Mecha Bay. My my, an insatiable little bastard, are we? You arrive in the Mecha Bay, but don't see your mech in the front few slots. Looks like you'll have to hunt it down again. Abilities: Inventory: - Field Medical Kit - Field Repair Kit - 9mm Glock Conditions:
Tomaster Vladimír Shurla [8-1=7]: "Murrph. Awesome. I could use some warm up action. Do we have time to eat?" "The ship gets close enough to drop us off in... 2 hours. We've got time." "Kickin' rad. I need some coffee or something..." You get up, get yourself presentable, and head out of the room, off to the mess hall. You arrive soon enough, and walk in to a raucous room full of dining crew members. Ahh, the sound of people and the smell of food... Good times. You head over to the food counter, grab your small but tasty breakfast, and go over to a table near a team that regularly works on your Mech. Abilities: Inventory: - Field Medical Kit - Field Repair Kit - 9mm Glock Conditions: - Sleep Deprived (-1 to rolls)
Mecha Name: Goliath Mk.V Class: Heavy Weaponry: - Two Heavy Cannons - Hellfire FaF Missile Pod Inventory: - 32 Depleted Uranium Heavy Cannon Shells - 72 Hellfire Missiles Abilities: - Heavily Armored (+1 to defense rolls, -1 to dodging attacks) - Depleted Uranium Slugs (+1 to attacks using the main guns) - Morale Boost (+1 to all allied rolls at the beginning of the battle, or when the Goliath arrives on the battle scene) - Ypsilon Strike [SW] Conditions: Status: Arms: OK Legs: OK Torso: OK Etc: OK
Roast Veg Aark-han [10-1=9]: You head out after Vladimir, with Amazigh following close behind you, and you all head to the dining hall. Vlad gets in line for food, but some large muscleheaded douche jumps in front of you, cutting you off. The bastard also snatches up the last of the hash browns. He looks back at the two of you and smirks. However, he does not see the cook bring out a whole new heaping bin full of delicious, golden brown hash browns. Your mouth waters in anticipation as the cook loads the two of you up with food. Hell, you don't even need to eat your Scrumptious Meal now! "Excuse me, Ms. Cook? Do you think you could keep this in the refrigerator for me until tonight so that it doesn't go bad?" You gesture at the meal you brought with you. "Certainly, hun." What a nice lady! Abilities: Inventory: - Field Medical Kit - Field Repair Kit - 9mm Glock - Rough Map of the Exoneration - Delicious Breakfast Conditions: - Sleepy (-1 to next 3 rolls)
Mecha Name: The Han Van Class: Light Weaponry: - Innnardsplatter - "Le Big Tweezers" - Some Kinda Acid Sprayer [SW] Inventory: - 20 AP Grenades Abilities: - Scream Siren Conditions: Status: Arms: OK Legs: OK Torso: OK Etc: OK
Amazigh "Amazigh" [9+1=10]: You follow Aark down to the dining hall, and get lucky with the food rotation, causing your breakfast to be especially piping hot! Oh god it looks so good... Suddenly, your foot catches on a loose tile. You trip forward, and your tray of food goes flying, right into the muscleheaded guy who stole the last of your hash browns. Your food splatters all across his back, and knocks him forward a bit, causing him to drop HIS food as well. He slowly turns around, face contorted in rage, and sees you on the ground, looking guilty. "You ♥♥♥♥ did that on purpose, didn't you." Oh ♥♥♥♥. Abilities: - Cyborg Enhancements Inventory: - Field Medical Kit - Field Repair Kit - 9mm Glock Conditions: - Well Rested (+1 to next 3 rolls)
JJA79 James Argus [3-1=2]: Hmm... You know you had a supply of instant coffee in your footlocker. You need the pep-up. You go over to check your locker while John leaves along with the others. After 5 minutes of searching through your footlocker, you are forced to conclude that your coffee is missing. Dammit, you KNOW you didn't use it all, one of the others must've taken it! Pilot Abilities: - Sniper expert (+1 when shooting from long range) Inventory: - Field Medical Kit - Field Repair Kit - 9mm Glock Conditions: - Panic (-1 to actions when in close combat) - Sleep Deprived (-1 to rolls)
Mecha Name: Stinger Class: Medium Weaponry: - Machine Gun - Light Rail Sniper Inventory: - 8 LRS Slugs - 550 .50 rounds Abilities: - Energy Blast [SW] Conditions: Status: Arms: DANGER -- Left Elbow Joint Damaged, Motor Function 0% Legs: OK Torso: OK Etc: PROBLEM -- Error in Primary Computer, Secondary Computer functioning
Tokochiro John Kosloswa [2]: You leave the room, intending to go get some grub. You end up outside the male bathroom on the opposite end of the ship. Still holding HUNK RUMP and the Pringles can. It doesn't exactly paint you in a flattering light. Abilities: Inventory: - Field Medical Kit - Field Repair Kit - 9mm Glock - DIY Fleshlight - HUNK RUMP Conditions:
Game Events: The large musclehead in the galley crouches a bit lower, looking like a huge tiger ready to pounce. He's at least 6'3", wearing green camo pants and a muscle shirt, and has a very short buzzcut. Everything about the man screams "Dumb as a rock, but strong as a bull". "I'll tell you what. Get down and lick my boots clean, and I'll let this slide."

Nope, it's Vegimite, shrimp and beer that I'd probably have. But I'll have my own natural defences too, like drop bears on my roof, kangaroo bodyguards and emus for recon.
And of course a Holden Commodore for escape if need be.

Re: Roll to Dodge - Mecha
Wait, so Australians actually like Vegemite? My friend was visiting his relatives in Australia (and that's where he discovered that Toonami's TOM had an Australian accent in Australia, IMAGINE THAT) and on the plane he got some toast. He asked if he could have another piece, because it was burnt. No, it just had Vegemite spread on it. I thought he was exaggerating until I looked it up - call me picky, but charcoal-black pastes aren't appealing to me.
Do you guys drink Fosters over there? 'Cos according to the ads in the U.S., yelling 'OY!' is Australian for social networking, and Fosters is Australian for beer.

Re: Roll to Dodge - Mecha
Some people like vegemite, but it's fairly rare. Most people find it too strong and too salty. It's not really that black, more dark brown. Foster's isn't anywhere near as popular as you think it is. Yelling 'OY!' is not really anything particularly significant beyond being an alternative to 'Hey!'.

Re: Roll to Dodge - Mecha
I was just alluding to an ad campaign here in the U.S. for Foster's where they portray all Australians as a bit-less-burley Saxton Hales.

And then there was the ad with Paul Hogan and his 'Shrimp on the Barbie'. I've never seen a Foster's, and my dad drinks Guinness.
I was being extremely sarcastic in my previous post. I don't like Vegimite and don't have much of a taste for beer, being only 18.
And BTW I'd be 36 in this RtD. If you're seriously considering it HK, send me a PM with any details.

Yoman987 wrote: don't have much of a taste for beer, being only 18 That's not stopped a good portion of the population. And I like vegemite, myself. Probably because I like salty things, though I spread it on thick enough to horrify people watching.

"Hey, guys, that kid that's about to get the motherloving ♥♥♥♥ beaten out of him is on my team, and I'd rather not be short a pilot on today's mission. Get ready to help out if he needs it." Watch fight. If it looks like he's struggling, hop in with my crew. If not, make small talk and ask if it would be possible to modify my Mecha to hold another weapon slot without compromising integrity.
