Eigla and Rosa begin exposing their opinions on Peggy, cutting one another off before either of them is finished.

The conversation soon devolves into yelling, pulling one another's hair, and finally, rolling on the floor having a catfight, complete with crying and angry makeouts. Mary sips her tea wordlessly, trying not laugh and/or ogle.

Mary: "Uhm. I'm... Sorry to intrude, but... There's no need to get so worked up. I'm not some kind of monster. Sure, I'd like to see her pay for what she's done, but I'm not about to do it if it'll trouble my guests so much! What kind of a host would I be, then?

So, how about we go see your friend and talk this out? Maybe it'll all be a misunderstanding in the end."



Klimt: "What would I do? These are hypotheticals. In a ruined world, you can't be sure that someone better is out there.
You have to live like you are irreplaceable.

And I have failed too, and been forgiven. I failed to prevent you from blowing chunks out of Rosa. I was delirious from hunger. I tore her throat out in a rage. They did not let me go.

This thing about the stash in the woods, though, was a trick you had to anticipate would end horribly. What were you going to do when we found out it didn't exist?"

Peggy begins crying again, almost choking in her own tears.

Peggy: "I... There's, there's wolves in the forest. I would have lured you into their den, then used the confusion to escape when you were attacked.

...There, I've said it. Feel free to wring my neck. I-I just wanted to escape."

She looks up at him as if pleading, the poncho slipping down and letting Klimt see her face. He can't help but notice how beautiful her big, luscious green eyes are.

Mary smiles sweetly.

Mary: "Not a problem, dears. We all have our off days. Now, shall we be going?"




Meanwhile, Peggy frowns and sniffles.

Peggy: "Oh. Well then... I-I guess I shouldn't keep these on me anymore. U-Ugh. I-I-I hate being honest."

She awkardly lifts her poncho and lets no less than eight shivs and a sawn-off shotgun fall to the floor.

Just as Klimt finishes putting the weapons in one of the meat sacks, he sees someone approaching. Rosa and Eigla are back, accompanied by a young woman riding a large ram.

Peggy hides behind him, shivering.



Mary waves at Klimt, then pauses and looks at the girls cautiously.

Mary: "...Has your friend noticed there's a banshee right beside him?"
