CaveCricket48 (Raphael) [10]: Dane tries to assault War, and predictably fails. He doesn't even look away from Vlad and Charles, instead just raising one hand up towards Dane. "OORRAAAAA!" A large pane of Psionic energy flashes into existence in front of Dane, and drives itself into the floor. War's attack hits the pane, shattering the Psionic construct, but leaving Dane unharmed once again. That's twice now you've saved him.

You pump as much Psionic power into your legs as you can, and leap forward, hard. You plow face first into a wall a couple feet away from this bastard, then realizing that something painful is about to happen to you, use quick Psionics to secure your feet to the floor. You're not sure if it was a good idea... The blast from War hits you, and hard. With your feet attached to the floor, you end up bending backwards further than you think you're supposed to be able to, and hitting your head against the concrete steps. Predictably, this breaks your concentration, and your foot binds fade. You go sliding down the stairs backwards.

You pop a shield up between Dane and War, and have it keep between them at all times. Dane then tries strafing around War while shooting around the shield, to little effect against War's shield.
