You turn towards the windows to look for any wealthy people passing buy, but most of everyone outside seems rather financially normal. Then the door opens, and a hooded figure walks in.

"Fine night, Walter."

The jewler's face turns to irriration.

"Thief! Using the commotion outside to walk in plain sight, eh?"

"Calm, I'm not here to steal. I'd like to make a purchase, if you don't mind."

The hooded figure walks up to the counter and gazes at several necklaces on display before pouring a hefty amount of gold onto the counter.

"That one, if I may."

The jewler carefully takes a necklace and places it into a velvet box, setting it aside, and then goes about counting the gold. After he assures that there's enough money to pay, he hands the box to the hooded man.

The hooded man walks backwards towards the door as he thanks the jewler and he brushes against you on the way.

"Pardon me, sir."

With a smile flashing white teeth, the man leaves.

Looking at the water, you can see a dark line that connects the two banks of the river. One of the short figures gets on the back of another, which then wades into the river and starts heading to the other side using the rope. The other two figures do the same.

You ask around a few people and manage to gather some directions towards the lord's manor, which also contains the treasury. Heading towards the manor, you find a partially destroyed mansion in a large, open area.

There are large craters on the roof and walls and the entire place is surrounded by armored soldiers. One of the wings on the building seems more guarded than the others and is untouched by the destruction; you assume that this is the treasury.
