The panther immediately flees, but she leaps into the brush and slashes towards the fleeing shape, cleaving off the tip of its tail. Surprised by the sudden hurt, the cat trips and gets tangled in the brush. Blue quickly finishes it off with a solid chop to the head, and then she yanks out Cohlichimarde and walks back onto the lighted trail.
NPC/Die Angelus (Roll: 4)
Die stops in a small clearing, feeling a sharp presence on either side of her, and shoots out flaming chains on both sides. The left chain flies and wraps around a tree trunk, but the right wraps around a fleshy target. She yanks on it and a dark cat flies out of the woods, unable to pull itself out of the fiery collar around its neck, and Die slams her arm into the face of the oncoming panther, breaking its neck and killing it instantly. She notices a small burn on the back of the panther- it's the same one that she hurt just minutes ago. "Knew I'd get you."
