Asfer waits for the two of them to get in front of him and he follows behind, wary of those crazy-big panther things. As he walks he keeps one eye on the surroundings and one-eye on his parameters screen, setting the order of the grenade reload cycle. He sees a flash of movement from one side and hastily finishes the reload parameters without concentrating. "Asfer! Hey big mecha dude! C'mon!" He then looks up after tying his splint and notices Asfer is lagging behind a bit. "Asfer! Hey big mecha dude! C'mon!" Asfer looks back behind him once before coming.

Johnny spins around frantically to find where the cat is, loses his footing and stumbles into a tree trunk. He turns around so he has his back to the tree and hears the snarl again - from directly above him. He looks up to meet a pair of glowing eyes right in his face.

"IT APPEARS THEY HAVE THE TERRAIN ADVANTAGE, WE SHOULD MOVE TO A CLEARER AREA WHERE WE CAN HIT MORE EFFECTIVELY." Without waiting for anyone, the VN Warrior Mech then just heads off into the trees in search of a wider area to fight in. It doesn't even notice that every tree it passes gets pushed over or broken somewhat because of its bulk, but does eventually get to a more open area. However, the trees here look like they are much thicker that the ones back there, so it's kind of a win-lose result.
Tyler watches the two mechs and two snipers quick-walk out the other side of the area and the rest of the people fight off the panthers. Then he feels something breathing down his neck and his eyes go wide.

Yes that's right - I have 8 current players and 2 NPCs plus all 5 'evil' players and 2 'evil' NPCs. Total characters currently in-game: 17.
Is that a new record? I think so.
