Re: Legends of the Sky
Oh god I hit my toe so hard fffffffff- ROLLING Ragdollmaster (Troy) [2]: "Ask that to all the women I've pleased."You shrug. "I haven't seen your sisters in a while but last I checked, they weren't impressed."And THAT'S how the fight started. 5 minutes later, the two of you call a truce, and both sit down, panting heavily. CharacterMiggles (Robert Wright) [1]: You stand around and just, sorta, stand around you guess. "There's not much to do on the ship." "Yeah, we're working on that. Looking for another island or something."CharacterFail Flail (Grif Mason) [8]: ".....of course we are, we just need to find out where your home IS first, that's all. Don't worry though, it'll just take a little adventuring, and everybody loves adventure, right?" "Mm! I wanna adventure too!" "Yeah!"Smiling, you take out your beloved pocket watch, and hold it out to Sera. Her looks at it for a second, and slowly her eyes go wide with wonder as she observes the hands move and the mechanism tick. You make a motion, offering it to her, and she gingerly takes it, examining all over its surface, looking for the source of its strange sounds and creator of the movement. "Mister?" "Yeah?" "What IS it?"CharacterIzen (Sedraxis) [2]: "There's not much to do on the ship." "Yeah, we're working on that. Looking for another island or something."CharacterMaart3n (Mareikura) [1]: "Could you tell us where your home is? We might actually be able to take you there."...She doesn't even notice you. She's too distracted by that pocketwatch Grif gave her. Well, she said it was on the clouds. You're not really sure how that works. Clouds definitely aren't solid enough to hold weight, but then again you've got floating islands, so who knows. CharacterTomaster (James Tiber) [6]: "Ask that to all the women I've pleased."You shrug. "I haven't seen your sisters in a while but last I checked, they weren't impressed."And THAT'S how the fight started. 5 minutes later, the two of you call a truce, and both sit down, panting heavily. CharacterGame Events: Once again, the ship trundles on uneventfully.

Asshat. Anyway, do you even know where we're going? I signed up to kill things and ♥♥♥♥ women, and thus far I've only done each of those once. Wish for some adventure.

"It's called a timepiece, or a pocket watch rather. It's made of a lot of little gears and cogs and can tell you exactly what the time is without looking at the sun!"
Patiently explain the purpose of keeping time to the little girl (Yes, I do realize it's a lost cause) while waiting for plot elements to give us a direction to go in.

Re: Legends of the Sky
Ahahahaha oh man you guys got a GREAT roll and you were doing NOTHING. Ragdollmaster (Troy) [5]: "Asshat. Anyway, do you even know where we're going? I signed up to kill things and ♥♥♥♥ women, and thus far I've only done each of those once." "You do remember that the entire point of this voyage, as of 2 days ago, is to explore this area because we have no idea where the ♥♥♥♥ anything else is, right? How am I supposed to know where to go?" Hey, uh, I was listening to the others talk last night. There are a couple things around. Grif mentioned a sword that can cut anything way in the South, James said the bartender lady that decked him had a little dungeon hideaway southwest of town, and someone mentioned some missing trade ships from off to the southeast. Or we could like, go North, to the Northern Empire. "What Northern Empire?" The one your drunkard got his thunderwater from. "How the hell do you know all these things." Eh, I'm pretty sharp.CharacterMiggles (Robert Wright) [8]: You stand around quite well. ... Um. Is. ... Who is Troy talking to. ... Is. Is he talking to his sword. You briefly consider a mutiny to put the ship into less crazy hands. CharacterFail Flail (Grif Mason) [10]: "It's called a timepiece, or a pocket watch rather. It's made of a lot of little gears and cogs and can tell you exactly what the time is without looking at the sun!" "Ohhhh... Mister, what time is it?"You give her a rundown on how to read the watch. She picks it up surprising fast. It helps that she understands the 12-hour system your clocks run on. Speaking of, it's getting late, almost 5, and all you've managed to do so far is acquire a small child. "Mister! Where're we going? Huh?"Oh, she's all excited now. "Nowhere fast, at this rate."CharacterIzen (Sedraxis) [10]: You gaze over the side of the ship for anything interesting. Nope. Just clouds. Clouds and a shadow. Wait, shadow? CharacterMaart3n (Mareikura) [10]: A cure out of nowhere isn't really within your abilities. It'll take a little bit. You begin by looking properly at it with your magic senses. It looks to be a residual magic imprinted onto your skin that sucks magic out of your body and materializes it as... darkness? Wait. Really? This stupid thing drains your magic to make dark splotches on your skin. That's literally all it does, and it's CRIPPLING your ability to use magic. That's stupid, but brilliant. Luckily for you, it should fade away within, like, a week. Or you could just scrub the ♥♥♥♥ out of your skin you suppose, but that'd hurt. CharacterTomaster (James Tiber) [7]: "Asshat. How am I supposed to know where to go? ... What Northern Empire?" "What?" "How the hell do you know all these things."...Ok, he's gone crazy. Awesome. You wish for Adventure. And your prayer is suddenly answered. CharacterGame Events: As Sedraxis watches open mouthed, a large shadow quickly descends, then slams into the deck hard enough to make the entire ship tilt. As everyone on deck struggles to regain their footing, they look over to see something... odd. It appears to be a giant winged ferret, easily 15 feet long, and its body as thick as a person is tall. Its fur and two pairs of feathered wings are all the same golden-snowy color as Sera's wings, and it looks you over with a calm expression. Suddenly, words appear in everyone on deck's minds, as the creature speaks in a deep, wise, and somber voice. I believe there is a small girl on board this vessel.

"James, I was talking to my sword. It is punny. Shut up. Anyways, yes, there is a small girl on-board this vessel, Mr. Winged Ferret Sir, but I'd appreciate it if you'd identify yourself- I can't say I'm fond of basically being invaded by a stranger."

Re: Legends of the Sky
Oh goddamn it, I hate having to kill things that can tell me their name. Also, let's go to the Northern Empire, that whiskey was good ♥♥♥♥. Be ready if the flying ferret is hostile or Troy can't sweet-talk his way out.

A not unwarranted request. I am a Seeker for the Vanash above. We believed the girl made it down to this plane safely, so I have come to collect her. "Oh goddamn it, I hate having to kill things that can tell me their name." The creature slowly turns its head towards James, and stares at him until the awkward tension becomes nearly unbearable. "Jesus, lighten up!" Oh. That was a joke? I see.
