Aicaya pops an armor-piercing shell into her empty PUSHKA, then takes aim at the floating creature to the East. Given the range and size of the creature, it's an easy shot, but the cannon's automated fire control assistance (Roll + Target Prediction = 4) doesn't hurt either. She pulls the trigger and sends the round spiraling into the armored shell covering most of the beast- it's hard not to, since it forms a sort of overhang that covers the vulnerable bottom from most angles of attack. The shell punches into the armor-like hide and elicits a sort of low whine in response from the creature. It clearly feels the pain of the shell, but the attack failed to hit anything vital. The attack does succeed in pissing the beast off, causing it to do a quick 360 degree circle followed by a dolphin-like push forward. It rears up into the air and a blue haze appears in front of its head, sending a cascade of... rain?- towards the small group. The water droplets come in at an incredibly fast rate and are obviously not composed of ordinary water, as they literally ricochet off the armors of D and Aicaya, and the slicing drops leave Mike with several shallow cuts. None of the damage is extensive, but the cuts hurt like hell. "Damage from that attack isn't bad this far away, but close up? It'll shred you like minigun fire," the Agent declares. The laser seems to do little damage beyond scorching the armor-like hull of the beast, but D takes closer notice of the rain-like barrage of water droplets that slices past him. His metallic frame causes most of the water drops to do no more than leave shallow scratches, yet he gets the distinct feeling that the high-speed drops of fluid aren't exactly ordinary water. The Agent confirms his suspicions, saying, "Damage from that attack isn't bad this far away, but close up? It'll shred you like minigun fire. Knowing that pistols would be useless at this distance, and against such a huge foe, Mike reloads his rifle and gets ready to shoot up the beast. He hears the concussive fire of Aicaya's cannon followed by a whine, then looks up in time to see a shower of... water?- coming right towards them. Before he can react, the droplets burst past him, and he feels an explosion of pain. "AH! WHAT THE HELL?!" Across his arms and torso, anywhere the drops grazed is a shallow cut- most of them just barely deep enough to draw blood, and thus painful as hell. On his abdomen where the drops struck directly are pinhole-sized punctures, so small that the flow of blood has already clotted them, but still painful. Small pools of "water" are around him, refracting light in a rainbow-colored spectrum much like oil on top of regular water. "Damage from that attack isn't bad this far away, but close up? Deciding it would be best to keep the beast stunned, Jet whips out his MGL and fires three quick shots. He tries to angle them so that they go under the armor, but the trajectory is simply too difficult to achieve, causing most of the shells to explode on the lower hanging section of the beast's tough shell. John pulls out the UXAMR, deciding it would be ideal for hitting the weak points in the creature's armor. Laying prone, John raises the scope to his eye just as Jet fires three grenades at the creature. Nice. Seems like it's stunned a bit, may as well take my time. Peering through the scope, John instinctively reaches to adjust the objective and bring the target into focus, only to happily discover that the high-tech scope has automatically focused and zoomed to an ideal engagement magnification. "I'm liking this gun. Very much." He sees a small strip of the creature's underbelly behind the hanging armor and fires a shot to be quickly rewarded by a burst of yellow blood- the high caliber armor-penetrating round has little challenging punching through flesh. The recoil from the rifle is fairly low given the size of the round, which makes it easy to pop off two more shots. The third shot actually punches through the hanging armored shell, and while it's a relatively thin section, the sight of more blood from behind it brings a visceral glee to John. "OK. "Alright. Let's take care of this one before he causes any more trouble," the Agent murmurs out loud, facing the beast approaching D, Mike, and Aicaya. ============================================= Appearance: Tall male, average build, silver glow covering body; face obscured
Game Events The Agent begins to glow intensely for a few seconds, to the point where his entire silhouette disappears and its place is nothing but sparking silver energy. He shoots off toward the beast coming at the left side of the group, the onlookers hardly able to track his blurred movement as he slashes up through the rear underbelly of the creature and explodes out the thick, armor-like shell covering its back. The beast stops moving completely and gives an unmistakable roar of pain, but the Agent isn't done yet. He soars back down and punches through the shell once again, a few meters away from his first impact. With a groaning scream that sounds disturbingly like a sobbing cry, the giant abomination starts to float down, profusely bleeding gallons of the yellowish blood as well as leaking other fluids- a thick, viscous blue liquid, very small amounts of bright green fluid, and a black substance similar in appearance to crude oil or tar. As it sinks lower and lower, its gentle float to the ground becomes a crash that resounds throughout the room. The scream turns into an echoing sort of howl that sounds more like a strong breeze through an open window than a death throe. Its movements completely cease not long after hitting the ground. A few seconds after it's clear that the thing is dead, the body starts to disintegrate: the blue and orange shell glows a fierce red as the corpse burns and ashes fly into the air, seemingly disappearing. Besides the ashes, the pyre gives off the same purple-green-blue radiations of energy that the creature gave off when it had first been attacked. Within moments, nothing remains of the colossus. The entire assault and resultant death take no more than 15 seconds to occur.
"Quit gawking and take care of the second one, you dolts!" The second beast is advancing forward slowly, leaking blood from quite a few wounds and still stunned.
