THIS SIDE UP and HANDLE WITH CARE are also printed on the side, along with various shock warnings and fragile stickers. There are two catches on the front side, so he flips them with a click each. The top opens with a hiss of compressed air and the smell of brand new plastic, then rotates backward on automatic hinges. Inside is plain black plastic to and from every corner and a small inset square in the centre. On top of this plastic - just casually laid there - is a note. Johnny picks up the note with his good arm and reads it: My Lovely Child, don't go Crazy now. A pop from the crate grabs his attention: the small square raises up and flips over to show a panel with bright red words on it: ARMED

The VN Warrior uses its external speakers to broadcast a message to the group as it walks up the slope: "I HAVE NIGHT VISION CAMERAS. ALLOW ME TAKE THE LEAD OF THE GROUP IN ITS TRAVELS." "No, I've got this. We're almost there." The VNW Mech can't move ahead on this tight ramp, so it just follows the group where it is up to the top.
Game Events The Blur group plus VNW, Ruben and Andrew are at the top of the ridge, looking down into the valley. There is a slight mist hovering high enough to cover what's down there but low enough for them to see over it at the commotion on the opposite ridge - soldiers. Definitely military soldiers, but not many. They haven't seen you yet, so you have the initiative.
The horizon is brightening and the sun will rise soon. Darkness modifiers are removed in 5 turns. The Map will no longer be needed after this point - you won't be going anywhere far after this.
CURRENT OBJECTIVES: Go down the ridge and through the forest to the Fabled Tree. Asfer and Johnny, catch up quick.
