What do you mean I'm two days late.
Sorry, getting back from church on Sunday, I was reminded (oh so conveniently) by a friend via text message that we had a fudge huge test in AP World History to study for- essentially, we had a list of about 130-some people who qualify as "important", from Hammurabi to George W. Bush, and we had to memorize what they did, when they did it, where they lived, etc. As you can imagine, my Sunday was not at all fun. I did have some free time yesterday but after all of the studying I did, I kind of sort of forgot about my mythical roll.
Today my internet was out when I got home because my ISP was doing maintenance which took all of two hours, and then my mom decided to Skype with some relatives for another two hours, and then I had to finish a creative project for Spanish, aaand here I am.
tl;dr -> ♥♥♥♥ LIFE. ROLL TOMORROW. APOLOGIES FOR DELAYS.

ROLL~
NOTE: I ♥♥♥♥ you not, even though this roll seems rigged, it is perfectly legit. I didn't even roll multiple times.
Lol. ------------------------------------------------- =========================== ------------------------------------------------- dragonxp/Advere Alexander (Roll: 5)
Advere brandishes his sword Lamina Tenebraum and faces the incoming tide of piranha. With a burst of energy, he rushes forward and leaps at the horde, throwing a broad slash at the piranha and sliding clear out the back of the current wave. Advere noticed that as he slashed outward with the sword, it began glowing and humming and dark energy spat out the end, forming a deadly blade which grew larger and sharper the faster it was swung. "Cool 8V". His army ants continue to cut down on the piranha ranks, but soon, many of the piranha start fighting the ants, too, and the insects are simply overwhelmed by the numbers. Ragdollmaster/Damien (Roll: 5)
Clambering over the uneven terrain isn't made any easier by the failing light, but the silhouette of the treeline is still clearly visible against the slightly lighter sky. Damien clambers through the thick trees that form the outer border and then crosses the river, which is mercifully empty of piranha at the moment. He moves carefully over it and sneaks into the lighter brush, trying to find the downed Ban Ali scout. After just a few seconds he comes upon a spot on the ground where a bright shine catches his eye- a small pool of blood. But the scout is nowhere nearby. "Maybe he dragged himself away?" Suddenly, the hairs on the back of Damien's neck stand up, a chill goes throughout his body, and he whirls around and throws a punch at the air above and behind him. His fist slams into the falling Ban Ali scout and sends him hurtling back a good two or three meters, knocking the wind out of him- evidently, he'd somehow climbed up a tree and intended to ambush anyone who came by. In his right hand he clasps a small obsidian knife, not unlike the one he threw at Damien earlier. Damien quickly unslings his M107, but before he can shoot the tribesman, he leaps off the ground using nothing but his one good leg and two arms, getting back on his feet in a second. He closes the distance quickly and Damien parries a slash of the tribesman's knife with the barrel of his M107, and then kicks him squarely in the chest. "Oof!" Damien realizes what a threat the tribesman poses- even though he's heavily injured, probably the only reason Damien is still alive is because of some of his increased speed and perception from his blur powers. Before either of the two can follow up with an attack, a burst of gunfire rings out and three bullets go straight through the tribesman's chest, dropping him instantly. Damien looks behind the man to see David standing near the river, his PDR raised. "Figured you might want some help." Damien nods his thanks and then stoops down and starts searching the scout's body. "This guy is bound to have the counter-pheromone that will calm these piranha down... just give me a few seconds and I'll find it soon enough!" Passive Abilities Marksman (+1 to rolls involving long-range combat) First-Aid (+1 to rolls involving healing actions) Null Field: An energy field that incinerates projectiles. -Only when blurred Hyperion Edge: A powerful light sword that spawns automatically with blur formation. -Only when blurred Dragoon Wings: Strong wings made out of light that spawn automatically with blur formation. -Only when blurred Techniques Blur Morph: Turn into the Light Blur. Cost = 30 Energy Blast: Generate a kinetic shockwave. Cost = 20 Energy Panacea: Heal any and all injuries. Cost = 50 Energy Sun Tendrils: Streams of tangible light. Cost = 20 Energy Tsunami: Generates waves of burning light that rapidly expand in all directions. Cost = 50 Energy Weapons Barret M107 CQAM Rifle (5 rounds/5 magazines) FA-MAS (30 rounds/2 magazines) Conditions Deadly Venom (Unpreventable death in 3 turns when activated) Energy: 0 / 100
Commodore111/Frederic von Werner-Tietzen (Roll: 4 + 1 = 5)
Fred continues weaving from side to side and firing bursts of the Mini-Uzi whenever piranha come too close. At one point, Advere steps forward and takes out a huge swath of the horde with a slash of his sword, but other than that small break in the fighting, there's no stemming the flow of piranha- in fact, there seems to be more and more of them by the second. Passive Abilities Juggernaut (Increased health and endurance, reduces all damage taken) Commando (+1 to rolls involving killing/shooting at animals/people; less affected by recoil and weight) Awareness (Increased perception, less likely to be surprised by traps or ambushes) Life Detection (+1 to rolls searching for people or vital signs) Strong Arm (+1 to rolls involving throws; doesn't stack with "Knife Throw") Techniques Knife Throw (+2 to knife throw rolls) Burst (+1 to a roll, removes negative modifiers temporarily; -2 to next roll) Weapons M240 w/ Foregrip & EOTech Holo-Sight (0 rounds/3 magazines) Upgraded Mini-Uzi (Kinetically Charged Battery: 80%) Combat Knife Ban Ali Obsidian Spear Inventory First Aid Kit Binoculars N.V.G. Heavy Kevlar Armor (Woodland Camo) GPS Atomic Watch 5 C4 Charges w/ detonator Conditions
Requisite/David (Roll: 3)
After hearing Damien's intentions, David decides to go back him up in case he needs any help. As he moves out of the gloom of the surrounding swamp and reaches the outer jungle, he looks around and catches a glimpse of Damien crossing into the trees about 100 meters up. He jogs over to the spot, readying his PDR, and upon reaching the spot that Damien entered, David shoulders his way in, too. The river is immediately in front of him, but there's thankfully no piranha at the moment. David looks up to see Damien about ten meters ahead, looking at something on the ground- suddenly, a dark shape drops down from a tree branch above Damien, who senses the movement, whirling around and slamming a fist into the would-be assassin. "Ooh. That looked like it hurt." The shape leaps up and slashes at Damien, who deflects the attack- David can hear the screech of sharp rock on smooth steel as the blade scrapes along the barrel of Damien's rifle. The shape is kicked backwards by a solid shot from Damien, and David takes the opportunity of a clean shot to finish off the scout, firing a burst of three bullets at center-mass and dropping the tribesman instantly. "Figured you might want some help." Damien nods his thanks and then stoops down and starts searching the scout's body. "This guy is bound to have the counter-pheromone that will calm these piranha down... just give me a few seconds and I'll find it soon enough!" Passive Abilities Athletic (+1 to mobile actions) CQC (+1 to close quarters' actions) Knife Mastery (+1 to knife attacks; stacks with CQC) Reactive Energy (Automatically attacks incoming threats. Four uses. [****]) Techniques Long Jump (+1 to jumping) Weapons Magpul PDR (15 rounds/4 magazines) MGL-140 loaded w/ Incendiary Grenades (0 rounds/0 discs) -1 mag High Explosive Grenades (4 rounds/2 discs) -1 mag Anti-Tank Grenades (5 rounds/0 discs) Trench Knife Inventory Shoulder Bag: -Rations -Comprehensive First-Aid Kit Conditions
dhart5000/Wilson Cole (Roll: 3)
Wilson retreats a little ways back to the trees, where he has some breathing room from the piranha. He takes up a firing position and watches his comrades dish out some damage to the piranha- for now, they seem to be holding them back effectively. Passive Abilities Charismatic (+1 when interacting with people) Tactical Mind (+1 when carrying out plans) Blade Mastery (+1 to rolls using heavy blades, like machetes and scimitars) Techniques Dark Hands (Makes dark energy envelop hands. Four uses. [****]) Double Slash (Roll twice for blade attacks, take the larger roll.) Weapons M4A1 (12 rounds/5 magazines) -M230 Underslung Grenade Launcher (1 round/6 grenades) MAC-10 (0 rounds/4 magazines) Composite Scimitar Inventory Backpack: -N.V.G. -$2.74 in loose change Conditions
Hyperkultra/Blue Demon (Roll: -) {Hyper was not on when I rolled, hence this.}
"Las ardillas. Me persiguen. Quieren mis tuercas pero no pueden tenerlas. El gato en mi pantalones, quiere mi burrito. Pero el no puede tenerlo. No compartire con el. "
NPC/Die Angelus (Roll: 5)
Die Angelus hurls the two chains in separate directions, and each chain embeds itself into a tree trunk. With a great pull, she topples the two small trees over and causes them to crash onto the piranha, crushing dozens and causing a small pile-up of piranha as the fish try to traverse around the obstacle. Pretty soon, they just start leaping off each other and straight over the fallen trunks.
Game Events Damien feverishly searches the body of the scout, gunfire and loud crashes sounding off out in the swamp. After a few seconds, he finds what he’s looking for- a packet of thin, extensively-decorated wrapping paper. He rips it open to find a green powder inside. ”Here we go. Now then, to set it on fire…” He grabs the scout’s obsidian knife and continues looking through the scout’s belongings, finally finding what he needs- a flat piece of flint. Striking the flint with the flat blade of the knife, Damien causes a few sparks to fall onto the powder; he repeats the motion a few times until the powder is finally lit ablaze. The counter-pheromone doesn’t smell like anything to Damien- but it clearly affects the piranha. The raging fish start to slow in their movements and they become substantially less aggressive. Perhaps just thirty seconds after the pheromones are lit, the beasts seem to forget about the group altogether, most of them turning back to the river in search of water. ”Phew…””Alright, c’mon, kids! We’re not out of the woods yet- literally. Everyone head that way. I’ll give us some light.” Die Angelus herds the rollers out in the swamp towards the exit; Damien and David crash through the brush to meet up with the rest of the group, ignoring the piranha who ignore them in return. Die Angelus then raises her hand, which begins glowing, and fires a bright, orange-reddish ball of light into the sky towards the exit, lighting up the swamp and outside jungle and even dimly lighting the mountainside.

Failing light? It's, like, 2am. It should be 'dim sunlight'. Dawn is a bit earlier on the equator right?
I'll roll tonight when I get home from Tafe.

What. No. The fact that they're on the equator just means that the light is more regular throughout the year; there's a smaller range of variation, but that doesn't make the days longer. I wouldn't expect dawn any earlier than maybe 6AM.
Also, it's actually: "The squirrels. They chased me. They want my nuts but can not have them. The cat in my pants, he wants my burrito. But he can not have it. I will not share it with him."
In Spanish, instead of having identifying words and pronouns ("he", "she", "it"), gender and number of nouns being referenced to is in the conjugation of the verb. Hence why the literal translation sounds retarded.
