Learn Pyrokinesis, it's the same thing only more destructive.

Re: Roll To Dodge - Blue
Question about the power of dice here: Say I pick up a stone and examine it. Will rolling a five turn it into something else than "it's just a rock"?

Re: Roll To Dodge - Blue
HEN's kinesises are all control over the lack of something. Cyrokinesis... Umbrakinesis... Very weird.
Anyway, no. It'd be a normal rock. You'd just know exactly how strong it is, what it's made out of, etc.

Re: Roll To Dodge - Blue
We just need Foa to put up his action, and we'll be ready to roll.
EDIT: Also, random question for you, Hyper; are you not starting the Mecha RTD until this one finishes? :U

Mecha RtD happens after this one, chronologically.

I think Mecha is totally non-canon, though.
I mean, who needs mechs when you have superpowers?

Re: Roll To Dodge - Blue
Yes , Mecha RtD will be started once RtD - Blue ends. Yes, it does take place chronologically 2 years after RtD - Blue. Super powers only work and exist inside the Archipelago, not outside it. Cheeseeaters!

So it's actually canonical?
What.

Yeah, it is/will be. Why is that so surprising?

Re: Roll To Dodge - Blue
It's just a bit of a weird transition, y'know? From the metaphysical-realistic in RTD 2 to the fantastical in RTD 1 and then we have like a quantum leap in technology over the course of 2 years in RTD 3 that lets everybody have Mechas Oh well, it's not as if we have to patch up every tiny plot hole. I just hope it doesn't devolve into nonstop senseless mecha-on-mecha fighting; it'd be cool to have some kind of ethereal foe, just to keep with the whole 'magikhul' streak.

Makes me proud to run my own RTD, as I can crush any kind of 'Magic' dead in its tracks. Science on the other hand, if you got the components and equipment, go right ahead, aslong as it scales into the timeline ie no going from Handgun to Entropy Cannon.

Re: Roll To Dodge - Blue
There will still be the same sort of "magykhul" element to it that Srs RtD has, but based more on mechas and seriousness. Not much room for crazy-physic-glowy-blurry schenangans, but I can assure you that there will be things as big as mechas that aren't mechas to fight.

caekdaemon wrote: Entropy Cannon Stop right there and slap yourself. Also, pure science fiction tends to be boring because it typically ends up being humans vs humans or humans vs aliens- pure conflict, with no in between. Metaphysical elements add in shades of gray between the stark black and white of factual elements. There needs to be some form of fantasy involved to actually give the whole affair a sense of uniqueness. ^Then again, your RTD probably isn't entirely super-ultra-naziesque-realistic. Care linking to it? @Hyper: Coo'.

Re: Roll To Dodge - Blue
A site spreading warez with advertisements for Russian wives? Oh, very reputable, broski Bit reluctant to register, but whatever, I want to see this. EDIT: OK, immediate nit-picking; in the OP you're describing "Martians" as being this hostile alien race, but you do realize that "Martian" implies somebody/something with an origin on Mars, right? The Kupier belt is way out past Mars. Why would there be Martians way out in the farthest reaches of our star system and not anywhere on Mars? JUST SAYIN', because this is about the second time you've just come in and gone, "Well see in my RTD we do it differently because we're better." I don't know if you're intentionally doing it or not, but you have a pretty noticeable superiority complex that's showing up in your posts, and it's frankly annoying. This is why I'm being very blunt with my criticism. Also; Caekdaemon wrote: it toke me ages to find those rules They're on the first page of both currently active RTDs Why would it take ages to find one? Positives: Hunger and Sleep stats are a cool addition. Map is also pretty good insofar as it shows the entire ship and its status, but just seeing that makes me think that your RTD is pretty limited in the sense that it takes place mostly on the same ship :v
