"Well... ♥♥♥♥." Faced with two eldritch horrors, Jet charges up his Torrent Cutter and focuses his attention on the one closer to him, on his right side. Extending his arms with his left held palm-up and his right palm-down, he puts his wrists together and clamps down on the building pressure to shape the water. As the attack reaches its breaking point, he unleashes the razor-sharp beam of water, finding it much easier to control than the first two times he used it. The attack reaches the giant beast in a heartbeat, but at first it doesn't seem to have any effect. Jet squints his eyes- how could that be? Surely the armor-like shell of the creatures wasn't thick enough to repel an attack capable of slicing steel? Then he sees it- a sort of ripple in the air near the points of contact. Any part of the creature touching the beam has become somewhat clear or transparent, and he could see strange green and purple and blue swirls of... something, in the clear spaces. John's Rasenshuriken flies straight through the creature and detonates in the center of its thorax, turning most of the beast into a translucent miasma of swirling purple-green-blue. It looks like some kind of phantom abomination of the already terrifying monster that had been there seconds earlier. "What the hell?!" Jet yells in frustration. "..." At first, John Space Freeman is more than capable of containing himself. He's too manly to react with fear. After all, he's seen worse than this, hasn't he? Oh. No. No, no he has not. Right, then. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" "Oh, what fresh hell...?" Aicaya can only mutter with simultaneous shock, indignation, and incredulity as she watches the lumbering beasts float into the sky. They look like something straight out of a nightmare. Deciding not to get riled, she forms up a Terra Spike and sends it rocketing towards the target on her left. The rocky javelin hurtles into the underbelly of the creature- and goes straight through. Aicaya is elated at the results before she sees the rock spike soar out the back of the beast, phasing straight through without any damage. Something of a ripple in the air is present around the areas of contact- purple, green, and blue colored swirls. Aicaya can also just barely see that the site where the spike entered into the body of the monster has turned translucent. Either the entire mass of the creature is somehow exactly identical to the surrounding temperatures of the room, or something is very wrong. He sees a huge rock spike hurtle past the area he's looking at with no apparent effect, and a volley of rifle rounds undergoes the same phenomenon. Strange. He then turns to the Agent and asks, "Were you the being that we saw earlier?" So yeah I was nearly done with the roll and my power went out very unexpectedly for a few seconds. I restored my online session to find the roll gone Am sad panda. Will roll tomorrow morning though!

Before he can contemplate what to do next, Jackson notices a swirling ball of energy in front of the creature. "That ain't good," he mutters with false calm, frozen with fear. In a state of deep concentration and with his eyes closed, the Agent hardly even notices all of the gunfire and explosions around him. "Ready," he says, opening his eyes to see the two creatures about to attack. "And just in time." His hands glow with energy... Game Events With everyone staring at the alien creatures poised to attack, none of the group members even initially notice the Agent slamming his hands together. A rushing noise like air being sucked into a vacuum causes everyone to turn towards the Agent, and the group collectively notices the source of the noise: a sort of dark silver cloud surrounding his hands, filled with flashing tendrils of energy, like lightning, in all the colors of the rainbow. The Agent looks up with his eyes glowing a fierce shade of light blue. "Aether factus terra!"
A shockwave of energy explodes from his hands and sweeps through the room. It goes straight through the various party members with hardly any effect, other than them feeling a sort of tug in the air. When the shockwave hits the beasts, it has a totally different effect. Their swirling spheres of energy dissipate and vanish as they start to cringe and writhe in the air. A keen wailing of unimaginable pitch comes from both creatures as their bodies react to the attack, spasms rocking them as though they were hit by a huge current of electricity. The creatures become translucent miasmas, then solidify once more, stunned by the process. With the attack complete, the Agent drops to one knee, obviously exhausted. "NOW, give them all you got!"
