Half surprisingly, the others actually comply, and back away from the girl a bit. Mare stands behind you, and you crouch down to one knee as Charlotte flits over to her.
"Easy there, don't move too much, does anywhere hurt?"
"What? N-no, I'm fine, what- what's going on? Where am I?"
"You're on a boat!"

Game Events: 4 crewmembers and a fairy clustering around her and asking questions is rather distressing, and to no one's surprise, it only takes a moment for her to start crying loudly.
After a few minutes and some comforting from Charlotte, she finally manages to calm back down, and can be coaxed into some questioning.
"You remember anything before landing on our boat and smashing our deck?"
"Uuuu... I'm sorry..."
"Er, the boat's fine, we don't care about that. But do you remember anything?"
*sniff* "Um... Well... I remember being in my home, with my mommy and daddy, and then there was a big meeting, and everyone came, and and the elder had me come up in front of everyone, and... I can't remember..."
James sighs at the lack of real answers. Just what you needed, a pointless distraction in your adventuring.
Then, he glances back at the girl and has to take a double take.
On her back, protruding from holes sewn into her dress, are two small but unmistakable wings, covered in golden white downy feathers.

"Alright Sera, I'm sure this is all quite overwhelming for you, so how about we find some sturdier clothes for you and get you fed before we ask anymore questions, hm?
In the meantime I propose we start heading to the source of this, by that I mean go straight up, she had to have fell from somewhere."
"Based on what she's saying I imagine she was somehow magicked or teleported here. Not like there's a giant hole in the sky we can find, Grif. But yes, let's get her fed and calmed down before we ask anything else.
Oh uh, James and Mare, c'mere a sec. Gotta talk to you about... stuff."
You three head over towards the rear of the deck while Grif and his fairy lead the little girl downstairs.

"Okay, did you guys get a weird feeling of '♥♥♥♥ this ♥♥♥♥' right before she woke up? Her just randomly falling onto our ship, those wings- I don't like this situation much."
Mare confirms that he felt it too, and nods at your assessment.
"I'll keep an eye on her and see if there's anything magical about her."
"Alright. Report back soon. And where the hell is our engineer?"
"Was learnin'."
Judging from the bottle in Rob's hand, he wasn't just "learnin'"...

Ok, that sounded like a child crying. What the HELL is going on up there? You head over to the storeroom and grab a bottle of beer, uncork it, and indulge a bit. Bolstered, you head up on deck to face the world.
"...soon. And where the hell is our engineer?"

Sera remains wary, but gets to her feet and follows you and the fairy down below. Charlotte dances around excitedly, happy to finally have something happen. She may be just a sprite, but sometimes she's the most adventurous of the whole crew...

"Hey! Sera! Can you fly?"
"Ehh? Um... No... my wings are too small to fly..."
You head into the galley, grab some leftover bread and a jug of water, and set them out for Sera, who after a couple moments of hesitation and careful sniffing of the food, starts munching on the bread.
"I can teach you then! My wings are small too, I use magic to fly!"
She looks up at the fairy, confused.
"But... But you're a fairy! I'm just a person... I can't fly unless my wings get big...
Hey... where are your wings mister?"

"Okay look, as interesting as this is, shouldn't we at least make the ship go somewhere? At this rate, we'll be here all day."
"Yeah, we're figuring that out. Grif says we should go up and see where she came from, but we can only go so high. But I dunno anywhere else to go right now..."
"Maybe one of the others heard of somewhere interesting."

You head belowdecks, but stay just out of the galley for a bit, listening to Charlotte converse with the girl.
