Eigla looks around one final time. Hm. There's a fair amount of gunpowder and discarded flak shells in a corner. Rosa's coffin already supplies all the ammo she needs, but it still could come in useful. She scoops the gunpowder into a jar, along with several casings.


Rosa: "Hm.
Later. Once we're moving again, you can use my sniper. On a leash.
It can't hit up close."

Baghead: Suuuuure! Of course. You are very generous, yes. Yes!"

Emilia tumbles down the stairs to the basement, landing in front of Klimt and the group.

Emilia: "M'ILA SAVE MASTER! Master?"

Baghead: "Well, uhm, seems like everyone is here now, haha! Sooooo, you must be exhausted! Why not rest a bit? I-I'll keep watch!"

Rosa: "Hm. Yes. We will keep watch. You, and another."

Eigla: "I will keep watch."

Baghead: "O'course! We'll make a great pair, you'll see!"

She sits down by Eigla, twiddling her thumbs. Rosa, meanwhile, finds some reasonably clean straw to lie down on, and tries to get some shut-eye.

Klimt rolls his raincoat into a pillow, and lies down on a corner to rest. Emilia immediately kneels down beside him, rolling up her eyes and engaging what you now recognise as sleep mode.


Hours pass. Eigla does her best to keep awake, while Baghead seems to have dozed off. It'd be... Safe to close her eyes for a moment, wouldn't it? Just to rest her eyelids for a moment, and...

ZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...



Eigla opens her eyes sluggishly. Did she fall asleep? Well, Baghead doesn't seem to have moved from her sitting position, at least. Everyone else also seems as they were when you last saw them, though Emilia has seemingly dropped on top of Klimt in her sleep.

From the light filtering through the cracks in the ceiling, you realise it is now morning.

Eigla looks around. Nothing seems out of place, at least on first glance. No signs of movement, either.

She gives Baghead a small push, prompting the girl to fall over, limbs flailing in panic.

Baghead: "NO NOT AGAIN GET AWAY PLEASE- OH. UHM. Uh. Wha? Who? H-hi? Is it morning already?"

Klimt: "Wake up, girl."

He slides Emilia off, and she immediately rises to her feet, fully awake.

Klimt: "You two, anything to report from the night watch?"

Eigla: "Nothing to report. I accidentally dozed off a bit during the watch, hopefully nothing happened during that."

Baghead: "Nope! Nothing at all! You can trust me, I am the best at keeping watch!"

Eigla gently gropes Rosa to wake her up. Unsurprisingly, it works.

Rosa: "Mrr?"
