The grenade goes off, and several screams are muffled out by the explosion. You dare to stick your head back around. The nearest guard is now coating the walls, the one behind him is on the floor, stunned, and you're not sure what happened to the ones in the room, but the gunfire has stopped.

You fire your Assault Rifle at him, and the rounds dart down the hall. You're not quite ready for the greater than expected recoil, and end up firing into the ceiling, but two bullets DO hit the guard in the chest, causing him to fall back onto the ground.

Glad Charles is so helpful. You do your best to push yourself up to a sitting position, but the stabs of pain turn into burning lances, and you slump back to the floor. You lie there for a second, thinking that you should be glad that you're alive. Then you remember your dream. If you can manipulate living things and life... Then... You focus your Chakra on your wounds, and make an image of them healing as vividly as you can in your mind. You can... feel a tingle. You're quite surprised that it's actually working. You try sitting up again. Still burning knives in your wounds, but you're able to push past the pain, and get to sitting. You let yourself catch your breath, hoping to not have to repeat that maneuver.
