Rosa: "More... meat? Where."

Rosa tries some of the meat. The fresh stuff is, in simple terms, absolutely delicious, and she can barely keep herself from chowing down on all of it. She guesses she was pretty hungry too, in the end!
The jerky feels... Dry, and unappetizing, but otherwise safe. The lack of blood is extremely disappointing, though.

She throws a crow at Klimt, who snatches it out of the air and start chomping on it. Crisis averted, albeit narrowly.


Baghead takes a moment to answer.

Baghead: "Oh, uhm. I... I'm pretty good at hunting, you see! So, uh, I have a stash out in the woods! It's a bit far from here, b-but I have two whole deer in there! Promise! S-so, just let me-
AAAH!"

She lets out a surprisingly girly yelp as Eigla rips off her poncho, exposing her body for you all to see.

Or, her lack of a body, to be precise. Her head is a young girl's, with medium-length golden hair, but everything else... A few disparate organs and entrails hang loosely from her neck, the most notable being a long colon being worn as a scarf to keep it from dragging around on the floor. Over a dozen arms, no two pairs equal, sprout from a bulbous mass amid her guts, with a stubby, bifurcated spinal cord exposed below it. She squirms panickedly, trying to break free and making her innards flop around rather disgustingly.

Baghead: "AAAAH! YOU WEIRDOS! C-CUT THAT OUT! STOP OGLING ME! WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU?"

Baghead: "F-FIND ME ONE PERSON WHO WOULDN'T! YOU JUST COME OUT, STRUTTING YOUR FANCY BODIES AROUND AT NIGHT, LAUGHING AT ALL OF US! IT'S DOG EAT DOG HERE, YOU CAN'T HOLD THAT AGAINST ME!

...Sorry about your hair though. It looked nice."

Baghead: "YES. Y-yes. It's how I g-got those idiots to follow me. I can shoot crows like no other! Rats, too! No one can beat me with a crossbow!"

Rosa: "Teach me."

Baghead's face twists into an incredulous scowl, before quickly turning back.

Baghead: "Wha? Are you stupid? You just aim and pull the trigger! Are you a braindead zombie or- UHM. I MEAN. Sure! I will teach you all my secrets! It'll take a long time, but you'll be the best hunter in the land! Second only to me, of course!"

Eigla sets the girl down and returns her poncho. Baghead dusts herself off, looking even shorter than usual, as her longer Walking Arms are broken, and she has to use another pair to stand on.

Baghead: "F-finally... I-I mean thank you, miss flesh monster thing!"

Eigla extends her body across the room, gathering some of the empty sacks and quivers hung on the walls. She fills each with a portion of meat, so the load can be shared between all party members.

Eigla's Crawling Flesh shrinks back into her body, leaving her with a reasonably human appearance again. Her clothes are all bloodstained now, to her chagrin.

She distributes the supplies among the party, making sure Baghead has to carry the heaviest load. While absentmindedly munching on some raw rat meat, she begins rolling up whatever pieces of dried leather she can find, tying them up in a nice bedroll-looking bundle.


Rosa: "So, you can't teach.
Can you hunt."

Baghead: "Yes! Of course! I can always hunt! J-just, I need a weapon for it! M-maybe that rifle of yours, or the pistols? They'd help a lot, yes!"


Meanwhile, Klimt looks around for pants. No such luck, but at least he manages to fashion a kilt out of one of the sheets of leather. His dignity level rises from Nonexistent to Unwashed Barbarian.
