John runs around the north corner of the diamond block in front of him and turns to see a pair of bots barely 20 meters from him, and a pair much further back. Without hesitation, he slings the Kamaitachi blades forward (Roll + Wind at my Back = 6) at the two bots directly in front of him. They each roll to the side and put incredible distance between each other. John's not quite good enough with the Kamaitachi to get both of them, but he's able to bend the ether attack so that it veers to the right, hard, and slices straight through one of the bots. Blood splatters all over the floor as John raises the PDW in his left hand and squeezes the trigger, a split-second after the other bot has recovered from its dodge roll. A storm of fiery buckshot rips into John's chest while his UXPDW sprays out its payload at an incredible rate of fire, cutting down the second bot with a mist of blood before it can get off another shot. John's timing couldn't have been better: trying to take on two of these agile bots out in the open is just too tough. He tries to catch his breath while blood streams forth from half a dozen holes in his torso. With no other bots around, he's able to take a closer look at the enemies: Roughly humanoid, the bots are compact, perhaps five feet tall, and built for agility. They seem to have a decent bit of armor, enough to stave off some small arms fire, but they're not tough enough to take a lot of hits. It's not entirely clear to John why they have blood, however- if that even is blood. ============================================= Appearance: Goatee. ===Equipment=== Primary Weapon: Utatku Experimental Anti-Material Rifle (UXAMR) [10|40] ---High-caliber bullpup rifle. Finally, two enemies come into view. "Gotcha, ya ♥♥♥♥" *click* "...click? Oh. ♥♥♥♥." Aicaya's PUSHKA jams upon trying to fire, and she instictively raises her arms to shield her head as two shotgun blasts slam into her armor (Roll + HIBISCUS + Grounded = 3) "It'll take more than that to bring me down!" Mike disappears around the corner and she hears him fire a hail of bullets from both of his pistols at the bots. His inexperience with dual-wielding is shown quite blatantly as a grand total of zero bullets make contact with the bots, but the unexpected fire causes them to dive back behind cover. Not wasting time, Aicaya hauls ass south behind the block to her left to give herself some breathing room. ============================================= Appearance: Shoulder-length black hair, green eyes, muscular build. ===Equipment=== Primary Weapon:(JAMMED) PUSHKA Artillery Cannon [1 HE|9 HE/8 FG/4 AP/12 AB] ---High power long range cannon. Secondary Weapon: Utataku Experimental Multiple Grenade Launcher (UXMGL) [4 HE|0] ---The grenade launcher used by the Utataku Support squad-bot. Made of steel, it is hefty, durable, and has almost negligible recoil. Uses 40mm grenades. Can fire high-explosive, fragmentation, incendiary, flashbang, and smoke grenades. D moves forward to the next diamond, following Jackson, and conducts another quick scan along the way. He picks up much more than a shape of one of the enemies- for a brief second, one of them is nearly in sight, only blocked from view by a few inches of a wall. D finds that the enemy bots are relatively compact, about five feet tall, and lightly armored. Their lack of heavy protection leads to D's assessment that they're about as resistant to damage as a healthy human wearing light armor, but their extreme agility means they're probably much harder to hit. "Jackson, I've come to the conclusion that these bots cannot take much damage, but they are quite fast and adept at dodging. It would likely be best to try to catch them off-guard with 'sprays' of gunfire as opposed to worrying about weakpoints. We must not allow them to flank us, however: I feel their speed would allow even a single bot to do extensive damage from behind." D finishes. "Hm. That's a good strategy, I guess. I was just gonna... y'know. Shoot 'em. But I like that we know a little more about 'em. "It'll take more than that to bring me down!" she grunts in defiance. Mike sprints around the south corner with both pistols raised, then rounds the east corner and starts to rapidly fire. The bots, caught off-guard, retreat behind cover and his shots fail to connect, but his surprise attack gives Aicaya time to hide. "Man, I gotta get used to using two pistols.
