Finally finally rolling.

Tomaster [4]:
Now that you're all healed up, you walk to the edge, sit down, and fold your wings up around you, hardening them like steel and encasing you in a feather pod type thing. You then rock back and forth a until you tip into the water, and start sinking. You quickly hit the floor, and start rolling downhill.
This goes on for quite a while, since the crater is so damn huge.
Eventually, you slow to a stop. Hmm.
You're in complete darkness, unable to move, and under several hundred feet of water.
This may be a problem.
*thunk*

You take a step forwards, and fall flat on your face as your knees give out.

You get an idea, and activate your Alchemy, transmuting the stone underneath you. Your will brings life to the rock, and your mind gives it shape.
Success! You make flippers and a full set of snorkeling gear!

They're still attached to the stone outcropping, too.
Dashie flies down and checks one of the flippers out before unsuccessfully trying to snuggle into it.
"Not helpful."


FoiL [5]:
LET'S TRY THAT AGAIN, HMM?
You stand back up, snort to clear your nose of smoke, and summon up your voice.
It's a doozy.
Somehow, two seperate voices mix together in your throat, then blast forward into the world. The combined force knocks you back again, but the rapidly approaching swarm of birds learns what it means to get on the bad side of a dragon.
A massive fireball bursts from your mouth, then continues through the air growing constantly. The many birds that don't manage to move out of the way of the expanding wall of roiling flame all perish in hellfire.
Only about a fourth of the original swarm remains. You congratulate yourself, and find that your voice is a bit hoarse.


Barnox [6]:
Suddenly FoiL does his thing, wiping out the majority of the swarm. Seeing your chance while the remaining hellbirds are dazed and confused, you throw your Orb through the air, and before you can send shadows into it like before, something comes into your mind again.
"Burn forever, endless flame of the endless void. Carve a path through the light and the darkness. Black Fire!"
Your air around your hand shimmers as a stream of jet black flames shoot from your hand. It darts through the air, advancing swiftly but moving around lazily as it does. It almost seems like a long black flame tendril as it hits the orb.
Then it seems like a match compared to the explosion the orb lets out.
You're temporarily deafened by the blast, and all the birds are completely eradicated. When you stop cowering long enough to see the damage, you notice a thick cloud of dark purple mist hanging around the area where the explosion happened. You have no idea where your golem is.


Amazigh [5]:
You try to copy the Raijin, but everyone else kills the birds before you can.
Dejectedly, you just shoot a Raijin off into the water to the side. It makes a big penis shape. You find this amusing.


dhart5000 [4]:
Suddenly the water around you is churning as it evaporates from contact with the shroud of Pale Fire around you. The Demon Eel lets go of your leg, shrieking in pain, and swims back a good 15 feet to reassess you. You throw a ball of Pale Fire towards it. The Eel dodges and gives another shriek, then stops and turns its attention south.
It... sniffs? Underwater?
"Bigger prey than you's around, angelfish. Don't worry, I'll be back for you later."
It swims away to the south, and you swim up to the surface. The way it left was odd, but you don't question it. You just breath deep the glorious taste of air.



Game Events: Tomaster wonders what he Clunked against, when suddenly he hears something. It's...
The hell, is that a VOICE?
"What're you doing here..."
It's female, and the least enthusiastic you've ever heard.
"You should leave now... before you get hurt... I don't want to hurt anyone else... I never wanted to hurt anyone..."
Tomaster starts to panic a little bit. Usually when people start talking like that, people die soon after.

Everyone on the small islands are pretty awestruck by the flagrant displays of ridiculous firepower that just occurred. The swarm of birds is COMPLETELY destroyed.

Tomaster is at the bottom of the Volcrater.
Die, Jackson, Kurt, Barnox, Amazigh, and FoiL are at the Volcrater.
Dhart is getting eaten by a demon between the islands.

Body master myself some amphibian gills and sonar skills.

Foil, Dhart, and CaveCricket, actions.

Dhart hasn't been on DRL for over a month. He's out, Tokochiro's in.

Somehow.

Tomaster [3]:
"Uh, I dunno who you are, exactly, but you should probably come out of the water so we can talk this out."
You try for a second to un-harden your wings, and a several small streams of water start spraying in between your feathers. You yelp, and reharden them immediately.
Ok. That did not work.
"Wait... You... you feel familiar... No... Oh no... Oh god no! Not again!"
The lady outside is visibly distressed and why is everything shaking now?
You're going to die a horrible death aren't you.


GlowstickNinja (Jackson Winters) [3]:
Okay. Lessee. This Body Master thingy. Let's try...
Gills? You feel your neck, and yep, them's gills! You try breathing through them and choke. OK THAT'LL STILL TAKE A BIT OF PRACTICE.


CaveCricket48 (Kurt D. Hopkins) [5]:
Ew, gills. No, those are prone to malfunction. Instead... Hmm... yeah, that might...
You test your theory out by sticking your head underwater and trying to breath. For a second you choke as water fills your lungs, then there's a very odd feeling electrical tingle, and your lungs stop hurting as much as oxygen filters through them. You then exhale a large bubble of pure hydrogen.
Success! You pull your head out from the water and give a whoop of joy. You slaved your Alchemy to your lungs, so that now whatever enters your lungs will have the oxygen split off from it and absorbed! You can now breathe just about anything that has oxygen in it!


FoiL [3]:
Acting randomly, you start yelling and clenching your body in rage to become a Super Saiyan.
"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-ACK"
Your sore throat sends you into a coughing fit. That failed miserably. You're not sure what you were trying to achieve with that anyway, Super Saiyans are from a silly cartoon.


Barnox [4]:
Ok Whirlpools are dumb, they leave now. Golem time!
You assess the purple mist. You've got doubts on how viable a golem of mist would be, but then your problem is solved anyway when your golem climbs out of the water! Wait, is that your golem?
It was made of large chunks of stone, except now the stone chunks are sort of... melty looking? No, melty is the wrong word. They look like they've been smoothed down and turned into some dark stone. But more importantly, your golem retrieved the orb!
... And it's now stuck directly in the golem's chest. Well that's just peachy. Well aside from that, it seems to be all right. It's currently waiting for orders from you like an obedient puppy.


Amazigh [1]:
You walk over to the edge of the stone outcropping and peer into the water.
A big white eel fish thing stares back at you.
"..."
"Sup."


dhart5000 [4]:
Suddenly your head gives a sharp jolt of pain. Ahh, you can't feel your leg... And the numbness is spreading...
You wonder if the eel had venom... That'd be bad...
Yeah, it probably did...


South on the island, a small feather appears in Die's hand. She turns north and stares for a minute, then turns away, gripping the feather tightly.



Game Events: Three important things happen.
Firstly, the white eel Demon that Amazigh saw swims off towards the cloud of purple mist, then leaps out of the water up into it. Its skin blackens, and it starts convulsing as it falls back into the water.

Second, a large amount of squawking and birdnoise draws the groups attention to the east. That swarm of hellbirds everyone thought was dead? 3/4 of the swarm is now swimming through the water, approaching the group.

Third, the water in the center of the dark crater begins to ripple, then violently spreads away as an enormous dark blue dome expands out of the water. The dome grows slowly, swallowing the entire crater, until eventually it reaches the group's small rocky outcropping.
"Oh god, what is- BRACE YOURSELVES!"
The dome swallows the outcropping and the rollers, who all find themselves temporarily blinded. When they can see, they're...
they're on an island. The most prominent thing is the tall jungle in front of them, but past that they can see... uhm...
Is... is that a dragon? Yes that is a dragon. A very large red dragon, snaking out from the island.

Everyone is on a beach at the Volcano Island.

The dragon hasn't noticed any of you, and is far away anyway.
Also, it doesn't have wings. It's more of a long red serpent with two arms.
