The creature maintains its smile and polite voice, while still keeping its palm aimed in your direction.

???: "What does Vranhal want with this city?"

Trees, hmm. Plenty of grass and hills and plains, gonna need to travel a bit to find a tree though.

Elizabeth: "No."

Horoma: "Is there a plan in the event that things go wrong?"

Elizabeth: "The Second's mages will be on standby, ready to drop in via ballista pods, directly over the prison facility if needed. Accuracy will be, uh, not very, but they can get there.

I'd rather not resort to that though, since that may give them a chance to take Emiel and prevent us from fixing the whole Ultima and Lucida problem we began with."

The creature tilts its head to the other side again, starting to sound confused but still friendly.

???: "Did you not see the other passages on the way here? This is only one cavern of many others."

Good bye."

A bright light appears in her hand.

An instant later, a column of flame slams into her side and a shockwave knocks you back with a deafening boom.

Kazooie quickly climbs out of your backpack and throws a fireball in the direction of where the creature was, creating a massive explosion of fire that illuminates the area.

You can't see where the blue-dressed creature is, but Amelia and Ethan are running towards you from an alleyway.

Ethan: Run! Get back to Vranhal!

You would practice posing, but it looks like it's time to go!

You run around the fields for a bit, getting the blood flowing. Feels good to be moving again.

It's also good exercise with Kuori on your shoulder!

Glare at the flying coffins. Improvements or not, I don't trust this express ticket to hell.

I'M COMING. WHATEVER.

>Make sure Kazooie is still on my back, sprint towards the mages, then towards the eastern end of the city. We might be able to leave before it gets up again.
