Re: Roll To Dodge - Blue
Grif, you so crazy. Rolling.
CrazyMLC[6]: Leaving Tomaster in charge of interrogation of the dwarves, you walk back down to the room below, where its quiet. You sit down and lean against the wall, and ponder your Kinesis. You have a gamut of elemental kinesises, and yet you don't have the power to lift and move basic objects. Deciding that you should at least have that simple power, you set your mind to the task. After a few minutes of probing around with your already potent kinetic powers, you figure out how to direct them towards ordinary objects instead of specific elements. After all your experience with Kinesis in the past, it was pretty easy. One Kinesis remaining, CrazyMLC. After you finish your meditation, you see Tomaster come down the stairs. "WHAT was THAT?" You're puzzled. What was what? 2/2 Active Abilities: - Perfected Elemental Kinesises (Fire, Air, Water, Earth, Light, Electricity, Telekinesis) --- #-Point Star --- Kinetic Trance --- Healing Light 2/2 Passive Abilities: - Olympian Power - Photosynthetic Regeneration 2/4 Inventory: - Nautical Shiv - Wiffles' Orb 2/2 Equipped: - DecaBow - DecaBow Quiver Injuries: - Left leg broken (Splinted, Heal in - turns (No Sunlight or food))
Tomaster [5]: MLC goes back down the stairs, telling you that you can handle the interrogations. You accept, then start thinking. How the heck are you supposed to communicate with these guys? After a bit of thought, you get an idea. You break off a piece of one of the stone pillars keeping the dwarves imprisoned, and using a syringe as a pen, scratch out pictures on the stone. You make a few crude dwarves, and a human with wings and a sword; You and the dwarves. You then draw out little hearts, peace signs, whatever you can think of that might mean friendship. After showing this to the dwarves, they mutter amongst themselves for a bit, probably trying to decide what you are trying to say. Eventually, they seem to agree, and all three of them let go of their weapons and shields, which fall to the floor. They then look at you beseechingly to free them, after their gesture of goodwill. You gesture to them to wait a moment, then head down the stairs. As you take the first step, the entire spire rumbles and shakes, as if there was a very large explosion outside. You keep your balance on the stairs, then head down once the rumbling fades away. 2/2 Active Abilities: - Summon Shade - Invisibility 2/2 Passive Abilities: - Wing (+1 to dodge if flying) - Super Strength (+1 to any rolls involving strength, provides moderate protection against impacts) 2/4 Inventory: - 1 BLCBST Syringe Cartidge (40 Syringes) - 1 Mostly Harmless Syringe Cartridge (25 Syringes) 2/2 Equipped: - Force Amplifiers (+1 to any rolls involving strength) - WolfHunt Injuries: - Shot Right Leg
Foa [4-1=3]: Something big shakes and rumbles, vibrating the spire like an earthquake. You wake up, with an odd sense of foreboding. 0/2 Active Abilities: - Ranged Teleprotation (Caused by an item, so doesn't cost a slot) 0/2 Passive Abilities: 0/4 Inventory: - HIGH-SPEED HANDCANNON (TAKEN) - 8 Mags for LadyKillers (Current Mags: 14|13) (TAKEN) 2/2 Equipped: - Fedora of the Gods (TAKEN) - LadyKillers (Dual Kickass Desert Eagles) (TAKEN) Injuries: - Punctured Lungs (-1 to rolls)
JJA79 [6]:Okay, the time for griping is past, now is the time for action. Despite your grumbles, you set yourself to work on Arthrokinesis to get your lazy bones moving again. It works, but not quite the way you wanted it to. You gain Arthokinesis, but instead of it being slaved to your motor controls, it's locked onto your conscious mind, meaning you have to concentrate to use it instead of just having it happen. It sucks, but its better than the alternative. Now, you just need to fix your legs so you can actually stand on them. MLC could probably help with that if he had a strong light source. Then, the entire spire shudders, and Shadow falls over on top of your legs. You felt nothing, but it couldn't have helped them. 2/2 Active Abilities: - Ergokinesis (Energy Control, +1 to melee and reflexes) - Arthrokinesis (Control of joints and muscles) 1/2 Passive Abilities: - Bird Communication 0/4 Inventory: 0/2 Equipped: Injuries: - Broken Left Arm - Paralyzed Legs - Fractured Legs
ShadoWKilleR255 [6]: "Hmm...Maybe if I... But, no... Hmm." You try to work out a way to repair your arm with cybernetics or something, and eventually reach a couple possible solutions in your mind, but without a skilled smith or someone who knows their way around electronics, it isn't going to work. Plus, you'll need metal and parts. Metal isn't too hard to procure, but parts might be a bit more difficult. Your idea has the basic principles down, but someone who knows their stuff would have to work out the little details. To make sure you don't forget, you carefully scorch your idea into the back of the Archipelago Map with a small, constant stream of energy. 2/2 Active Abilities: - Precision Mass/Energy Control - Telekinesis --- COMBO TECHNIQUE: Massively Effective Accelerator Rifle 1/2 Passive Abilities: - Nanotube Skeleton 1/4 Inventory: - Archipelago Map/Arm Repair Idea 1/2 Equipped: - Knuckle Blade Injuries: - Shot Arm (Cannot use)
Ragdollmaster [2]: "Let's try door number two!" A bit disquited, you head down the hallway to the other end. You pass many cells, a few of which have dwarves in them, mostly crying out for booze. It seems to be the only English that any of them know. You reach the end of the hallway, and look over the Obsidian Vault Door. You can't find any conceivable keyhole or slot, but there are thousands of greebles covering the door, any of which could somehow function as a key holder or something. Then, you hear a voice farther down in the hall. It's singing jollily at first, then suddenly stops and grows frantic. The voice shouts a couple times, and you turn around. The dwarf is in front of your cell, looking in. Then, the dwarf looks down the hall, straight at you. He screams something completely unintelligible, even for a dwarf, and charges down the hallway at you. His screams bring the attention of other dwarves in the Barracks, who also come running. "Aww, Shi-" Before you can finish, the wall halfway between you and the dwarves explodes apart, and all hell breaks loose among the dwarves. It's a roaring cacophony of yells and shouts, even the clang of weapons, until a voice pierces through the air, instantly silencing everyone. "DOON DEKI DIE! You try to speak, but find yourself completely unable to. "Much better." 2/2 Active Abilities: - Invisibility - Electrokinesis 0/2 Passive Abilities: 4/4 Inventory: - Satchel --- Whistle --- Orange Smoke Flare --- Green Gelatin (with Evil Pineapple Chunks) --- A Fake Mustache - Keyring - Flask of "Sunshine" - Carved Obsidian Key menacing with Spikes of Donkey Leather 2/2 Equipped: - BlueMetal War Hammer - Steel and BlueMetal Shield (reflects non physical attacks)
Game Event:As the dust slowly begins to settle, a figure appears in the haze. A figure with two imposing wings. The dust finally finishes settling, and the dwarves seem to recognize the figure, as they all drop to one knee in a show of fealty. The figure speaks something to the dwarves, who all turn and head back to the barracks without question. The figure, who you can see is a woman, turns around to face you. She begins walking over to you, all the while exuding a strange aura of fear and awe. She wears a dark blue jacket unbuttoned, a grey shirt underneath that, and dark grey pants. She also has wings folded up to her back. The left wing is snow white and feathered, while the right is a black and dark red leathery bat wing. But even these don't draw your attention. What draws your attention is her armor. On her left hand and foot, she wears a gleaming white-gold gauntlet and high boot, rounded and heavy looking. On her right, she wears smaller, jet black, much more dangerous looking armor, with chitinous plates and sharpened edges. The woman walks up to you, lifts you up by the throat with her left, and slams you into the wall behind you. "Where. The ♥♥♥♥. Is Foa."
All six Rollers are at the Spires. Ragdoll is just outside the Obsidian Vault, with Blue and a Barracks-full of dwarves. Foa is in a small dark room. 1 Hammer, and 2 Sword Dwarves are trapped in the hallway. Tomaster is in the hallway with them. CrazyMLC, JJ, and Shadow are in the room below.

Also, taking applications for an NPC slot. Go ahead and apply even if others apply first, I'm not going on first come first serve.

EDIT: Wait, it's Blue? But Blue didn't look like that did she? EDIT2: FOUND IT!! Hyperkultra wrote: ...a women, about 23 years old, dressed in clothing with metal plates riveted on as greaves, bracers, gauntlets, and a breastplate. She wields a sword, combining styles from english longswords and oriental blades, made of a matte gold metal. Meet the Blue Demon. Damn Ambiguity Can I play the Piegoddess? Or is she a Caekdaemon? XD Maybe you can call her the Two-faced Tart, since a tart is like a pie/cake cross.

Re: Roll To Dodge - Blue
Blarg that made no sense at all. Blue's clothes when fighting Rage were basically the "Level 1 Melee" sort of dealy. The plates could automatically raise energy shields to block attacks and protect the owner. Speed and strength were also increased.
Right now, she's using the "Level 2 Melee" sort of dealy. No auto shielding, but she gets the armor, and can charge attacks with energy to deliver larger amounts of "smash". Speed and strength are also double that of the Level 1. Oh, and wings.

Re: Roll To Dodge - Blue
10 rolls into my rtd and one person managed to get a bow and arrow and shoot someone twice. (they got two 1's for their dodge.) Another person has only gotten 1s and managed to fall into a fire and almost burn to death. I don't think I'm doing this right.
