Jet takes out another grenade from his ammo pack, though instead of throwing it over the Guardian, he rears back like a pitcher and hurls it at the Brute. A blue bolt from behind the Guardian flings towards the airborne grenade- and misses. Jet, however, does not. "Eat this!" Even with a controlled spray, it takes a few shots to actually hit the grenade. A lucky shot cuts right into the explosive, detonating the grenade a foot away from the Brute. The shockwave causes the bot to stumble back a little, but it doesn't do very much damage. The Brute shifts a bit so that it's facing Jet and begins to charge up its minigun once more. "Err, that's not good." Aicaya, having completely ignored Jet's advice to attack the Marksman, springs forward and rips the stationary Terra Spike up from the ground, adding the slightest bit to its mass before accelerating it towards the Brute. He turns towards the fleeing Support bot, which suddenly stops running as a shot from Mike hits its leg. "Alright, let's try this. Kamaitachi!" Scything blades of air whirl towards the fleeing Support bot (Roll + Wind at my Back = 3) The Support turns and fires two more smoke grenades a few feet in front of itself, disappearing from view. John narrows his eyes as the two Kamaitachi blades slice through the smokescreen, clearing a small path of air, when a third grenade comes out from the cloud- another flashbang. John's dazzled by the explosion, having been staring directly at the grenade when it blew, and his concentration wavers. The Kamaitachi blades dissipate as he realizes that it would just waste ether to try and hit an enemy behind smoke while half-blind. Though she can't tell how effective it was, the cessation of gunfire makes it clear to Aicaya that it had some effect- then she hears the minigun charging once more, and Jet says, "Err, that's not good."Well, this is as good a chance as any! D raises his shield before triggering his Psycho Mode, an overload of energy that gives him enhanced movement and reaction speeds at the cost of precision. "Let's go!" He runs in a swift arc to the left, intending to go around the Guardian and confront the Marksman, using his shield to block any potential shots. As he gets closer, a shot from the Marksman explodes towards D, who blocks it with a quick swipe of the shield. The Guardian notices and stops its slow advance, gripping his shield tightly and slamming it into the ground. Spikes on the bottom hook into the concrete, forming a defensive blockade. As D gets even closer, the Marksman quickly moves towards the shield-wall, and the Guardian demonstrates a highly impressive speed of its own- without the giant shield to slow it, its movement easily rivals the Striker's. At this distance, the greatsword of the Guardian is incredibly foreboding- easily six feet long, it's made of a blue-grey alloy of some kind and has two incredibly sharp edges. Sparks fly as the bullet slams into the Support's left leg, causing the bot to stop and regain its footing. Before Mike can take another shot, the bot turns and fires two smoke grenades a few front of itself, casting a cloud of darkness over his position. I do not recommend trying to attack a cloaked target with melee blades without support.
It would be nigh impossible to tell if the Assassin was five metres away or behind you, having some one helping you out would minimize the damage you'll probably take, assuming they can get a shot off the moment it decloaks to fire.

Which leaves you with just Jackson. Assuming you end up in the centre of the Assassin's search circle, that leaves you a considerable distance away from him. Even worse if the Assassin attacks you from the front, as then Jackson would not be able to make a shot as you'd be in the way.

"OK yeah ♥♥♥♥ this." Deciding to ignore the Support for the moment, John whips out his TK101 rifle and drops to one knee. The Brute is still struggling up when shots start blasting from the rifle. As it tries to stand up once more, a fourth shot rips into the exposed chest armor- and right into the reactor core. There's a cascade of blue sparks from the body of the robot as the power source fails. After a few seconds, the Brute is finally laying still. John suddenly hears a large thud right next to him, and jumps when he sees the twitching, de-cloaked body of the Assassin. He turns to see Mike standing with his rifle still partially raised, looking sardonically surprised at his one-hit kill. D turns and sprints to the western wall, then quickly reverses his direction, deactivating his Psycho Mode as he does. The Guardian bears down on D as the ZIGER locks on and starts to fire at the charging robot, which is much closer than D had estimated it would be- much closer. There's a flash as the sword, held up in the air at the full length of the robot's arm- the point roughly 20 feet up- swings down like the blade of a guillotine. D's protective chassis (Roll + 1 = 3) is probably the only thing that prevents him from being cut in half as the sword rips into his chest armor, the force of the cut hurling his body back against the wall. The Guardian whirls the sword and prepares for a second slash, when... Mike coughs awkwardly and looks around, pretending he didn't just embarrassingly waste ammo, but luckily, nobody is paying attention. He decides to try to do something about the Assassin and looks over to where John is firing at the Brute and Jackson is trying to flush out the Support when he notices a sort of shimmer in the air. Mike blinks and continues to stare at the strange phenomenon, which stays still for a few seconds, then moves slowly forward. "Well, that was easy." He raises his rifle and waits for the Assassin to stop just behind John, then fires toward where he estimates the head to be. Mike's half surprised that the bot drops so easy- the heavy caliber round knocks the Assassin clean off of its feet, with sparks spewing from the huge hole now present in the side of its head. Jackson pulls out two M88 grenades and hurls them into the smokescreen, about five feet apart. The dual explosion rips apart most of the smoke and reveals the Support, which decides to run forward with its grenade launcher reloaded. Before it can fire, Jackson whips out his Rhino (Roll + Gunslinger = 6) and sends a concussive round directly into the Support's head. The tiny explosion sends the bot staggering back, and two more shots in the same spot nearly blow its head clean off. ============================================= Appearance: White skin, dirty blonde hair, orange eyes, roughly 6', medium build. ===Equipment=== Primary Weapon: JS-319 Shredder [30|0] ---This battle rifle made by Jirachi Systems has plenty of stopping power and accuracy, making it a reliable weapon at long range, but its full-auto fire selection means it's a monster at close range, too. Secondary Weapon: JS-44 Rhino [3|23] ---A hefty .44 caliber revolver, the Rhino packs an enormous punch and is highly accurate even at long range. Game Events
As the Guardian bears down on D and prepares to send a second slice through him, the glass separating the entrance hall from the test chamber shatters as a shape erupts through it. The Guardian, in mid-swing, is stopped as the shape rips into- no, through the robot. Even with his sensors, D isn't able to track the entity. There's a sound similar to heavy artillery firing as the Marksman is hit from the behind with such force that its body flings over the grounded shield, mechanical parts and sparks spewing from it like blood and guts. Finally, the giant blast door at the northern wall is punched straight through by the entity, leaving a large hole in the center and bending the rest of the metal. All of this happens in the span of roughly five seconds, leaving D extremely confused. Nobody else even sees it- after the confusing cacophony of sound, all that's left of the entity are the battered bodies of the Guardian and Marksman, the shattered glass, and the busted door.
