Kyeltziv passes the body to one of the whitehawk members, who carefully takes her/it in his arms.




Karina: "Okay Kyeltziv, you're gonna come with us for a bit."

You head into the capital building, past a few (or a lot of) guards here and there, until you reach the lord's office.

It looks like there are a few Whitehawk members here, one of them carrying a chirop body, and a bunch of others in the office. Numerous mages, Torrent, a short version of Lucida, John, Miimas, Kyeltziv, and a few others. Kyeltziv seems to have gotten himself into trouble or something.

She slowly shakes her head side to side. And then you realize it.

The hair and the outfit are almost spot on, but the face is slightly different, along with her expression. It's not Linna.

Linna?: "Oh, the hearth? Yeah, once we got that fire going I wasn't needed anymore. Doesn't take more than one person to throw logs into a fire!"

The maid is right beside the Lord's desk, and Elizabeth doesn't seem to be reacting unusually.

You examine the chirop.

Nope, not familiar.

You follow the Whitehawk members out of the room and building, passing Horoma along the way who gives you a questioning look.

Soon enough, you're back in the whitehawk camp, illuminated by magic lanterns. The chirop body is taken to a tent and the Whitehawk begin tending to her, while you wait in front of the tent with the blonde.

Karina: "Okay, so what happened? In detail, if you can."

You try to listen in on the conversations.

Black Mage 1: "Who was that lupus?"

Black Mage 2: "Kyeltziv I think? One of those volunteer guys. Adventurers, mercenaries, something like those."



Aucupe: "And then when I create wings, you can make them armor wings. Armor bird!

Yes, we need wings!

We can't fly without wings!"



John: "Hm. Milord, Linna seems a bit off today, is she alright?"

Elizabeth: "No. She hit her head on a hearthstone and forgot her years of maid training. Her beverage refilling skills are nonexistent."

The maid laughs nervously and refills the lord's mug.

Elizabeth: "So, what did the Whitehawk want with you?"



Miimas: "What've you been up to?"

The light sandy chirop is standing beside you, watching everyone else talk.

You try to detect the magical signatures of the tripwires.



You can't.

Walking close to one, being careful to not touch it, you look at it up close. Metallic, but thin enough that it's almost invisible, especially in the dim lighting.

The mug is empty.

Elizabeth: "No. She hit her head on a hearthstone and forgot her years of maid training. Her beverage refilling skills are nonexistent."

The maid laughs nervously and refills the lord's mug.

Elizabeth: "So, what did the Whitehawk want with you?"

Elizabeth: "Huh. I didn't expect to hear that. Also say hi to your friend."

You feel the presence of someone standing behind you, and you turn to see Torrent. Or rather, Torrent's armor encasing someone.

A certain telepathic someone.

Sanoa.

She doesn't say anything. She just stares at you with an expression that resembles someone trying to hide their disappointment.

She simply stares at you in silence. A minute passes, and she turns around and rejoins the mages she was standing with.

Elizabeth: "Sorry about your, uh, relationship."
