You all approach the bridge, cautiously. The birds don't attack, but continue to leer and caw threateningly. A few even stop bickering for scraps of meat to watch your arrival.
Through the flickering glow of the truck's headlights, you see the bridge's floor is slick with blood, bird droppings and broken bones, interrupted only by the tire marks of previous convoys.

A few of the smaller birds immediately take flight, seemingly startled by the sound, and disappear into the night. The majority simply stands there, looking threatening yet mildly confused.

Peggy starts driving behind you, crossing the bridge slowly as you take the front. The birds seem confused about this behaviour at first, but soon begin cawing madly. The largest one stomps around in its perch, showering you with droppings and snow, then screams with a shrill voice.
Bird: "CAW. BRIDGE. YOU, PEOPLE. TOLL. TOLL, PAY!"
