No you don't and will not have another ability, just a temporary condition. Yes there will be some aerial vehicle soon.

Forgot to add the Apricot Effect to Andrew's conditions, so I just did that.

But to be more specific, where would you like to go to find cover? There is only a smoking car wreck to hide behind. You're in a clearing, remember.

Game Events
(Sorry RDM, I edited a few things :P )

As each of the party members takes on their own problems, the voice of Damien breaks out across the clearing.
"Everyone, get close and get down!"
Kyle helps Tyler to his feet (whom he still thinks is The Bodybag Boy), Andrew limps over, Asfer stomps after his target, causing that Tribesman to retreat again, but Vlad heads the other way instead - to assist Barker. As Vlad gets closer to Barker, the Tribesman breaks off from the struggle and joins the other two Tribesmen currently flanking the entire group. Vlad and Barker then form up, and Damien begins to glow very brightly.
"Watch it with that. Don't overexert yourself or blow us up." The Redhead warns.
Damien ignores her and lifts himself above them all using his wings - another result of his 'magical powers' - and continues to build energy. As he releases his hold on this glob of energy, an earsplitting, earthshaking sound explodes out from Damien as it sends out waves of burning light to engulf the entire clearing. Everyone in the group is momentarily bedazzled and deafened from the extreme power of such an action. As the heat fades away and the ringing in everyone's ears starts to die down, the scene around them isn't exactly scenic- the ground is scorched, some trees have been knocked down, the jeep has been tossed off into the distance and looks worse than ever- but most importantly, none of the tribesman are visible.
"Hmph. All dead. Nicely done."
Damien is panting hard, and the bright energy field that usually surrounds him seems to grow dull. It flickers a few times, and then it's gone entirely, leaving him fully human.
"What the... this hasn't ever happened before. What's going on? Die?"
"Meh. You probably just used a little too much energy. Walk it off." She replies.

About twenty feet away, one single blackened crater is the only unique thing about the landscape: the crater containing the recently-deceased-man's body. His face is twisted into a grim and determined half-smile, but it's shriveled and deformed from the massive microwave suicide blast. One of the Blurs looks over and salutes one final time as the rest of the group mills about.

As everyone surveys the clearing, treats their wounds and wanders around, the distinct sound of a fighter jet is heard in the distance. The sound rapidly gets closer and then heavy machine-gun fire is heard. Another aircraft sound is heard now, this one from a slightly older plane, as the two jets scream overhead. From the same direction, a smoking biplane wobbles into view and proceeds to crash land in the clearing, throwing the main occupant from the cockpit. He doesn't get up.
