Sure there is. Roll a five when searching a dead tribesman's body and find the antidote. Or roll a five twice in a row after your Deathturn (awesome name I just made up). Or a medic comes rushing out of nowhere and gives you the antidote.

(that last one is the least likely, as it would mean Andrew has to survive long enough for someone else to die and the next player/character to be 'inserted')

But yeah, Andrew could survive. He just has less odds than everyone else. :P

Did I ever say 'in five turns' ? I don't so... But anyway, THEY are not going to die. ONE of them might. There will most likely be 4 survivors from this encounter.

And now I need to think up a vehicle for the characters. Hmm. I have some ideas, and one of them includes a river. :wink: Where's my map.

ROLL

Andrew flips the knife between his fingers, observing the struggling Tribesman. The native looks back at Andrew, knowing that he is about to die. On the next flip, the knife lands between his index-finger and thumb, and he flicks his wrist back then forward and lets the knife fly. The native doesn't even try to avoid the knife, and it embeds itself in his left eye. He even sits there for a few seconds, then slumps backward. Andrew grins, but more against the numbing pain than the awesome kill. His flesh around the wound has taken on a daaaaark green tinge, almost like a bruise, and he can't feel his arm from the shoulder to the elbow.

He leaps onto the native from behind and stabs his knife into the back of his target's neck, in an upward direction. The native siezes up and they both fall forward, Vlad landing on top of the now dead body.

The Guy is sent flying backwards over Barker's head just as the Tribesman crouches, so Kyle thinks he is about to jump at Barker. He aims up where he thinks the Tribesman is about to be and fires, but instead it is The Guy that appears at that position.
"Oh merde!"
The Guy crashes to the ground near the Tribesman, bleeding from his side.

Tyler takes a step backward and bumps into Barker. Barker grabs his shoulder and spins him around to face each other.
"Hang on to yer britches, boy."
Letting go of his shoulder and instead grabbing the front of his hoodie, Barker falls over backward and pulls Tyler with him, but he rolls back and pulls his feet up, then kicks. Tyler flies through the air with his Machete in hand, straight at the Tribesman that was behind Barker. In mid-air, Tyler braces himself for the collision with the man, but instead recieves a rifle round in the side as he flies. He loses all of his built-up brace-ness, slightly changes direction from the force of the bullet and crashes into the ground.

Game Events
It is morning, about 9 o'clock.
Vlad is on a killing spree! He just took out yet another native and saved Tyler's ass. Andrew eye-stabbed his target as well.
Rolling less than a 5 means that you fail at attacking, blocking or countering the Tribesmen, and depending on what you roll, you will just fail the attack or get stabbed. The Natives are vicious and hardcore warriors. Be careful.
Attacking Enemies: 3 Ban Ali Tribesmen

As the battle rages on, a lone figure drops hi gun and walks calmly out from the center of the group. One from the Blur Party. He looks grim, but determined. As soon as he leaves the protection of a defensive formation, three tribesman begin circling him, hefting their spears and getting ready for the kill. He looks around at them and laughs a little as they begin moving in closer, and then he builds up the radioactive energy that he learned to create and direct. Just as the tribesman throw their spears and almost immediately sprint to cover, there is a massive explosion as pure energy flies out in every direction from the Man's body, enveloping the fleeing warriors with a hideous effect- their skin boils, their hair burns, they begin to liquefy from the sudden increase in temperature, and before long, they are nothing but deformed and grotesque corpses on the ground. The man, meanwhile, is laying quite still in the center of a small crater, surrounded by blackened soiled and burned grass.

For a few seconds the fighting seems to die down a bit. The humans and their metaphysical companions take in the scene with shock and a gut-wrenching pity, while the scene seems to barely register for the drug-addled tribesmen. "What... what did he just do?" "Gathered up all of the energy he had and then dispersed it. It was like a sloppy last resort- a dirty bomb. That wasn't nearly as powerful as a disciplined, directed blast would have been... but as you can see, it was still pretty nasty for those three guys that went after him."

No idea, but if someone has it, don't bother trying to revive Derik (TechnoGeek)- it was a game exiting suicide (ie he's too busy with school and other stuff right now to really play in an RTD :P)
