And I do not make out all your enemies to be unstoppable. The only time I did was with the blurs, who really are pretty close to unstoppable- by conventional combat, at least. They almost got their butts kicked by Die, [fanboy-justification]but that was a wholly inconclusive battle.[/fanboy-justification]


PS If you feel unchallenged by 13 superhumans, I will be glad to make the blurs, Blue Demon, and Die Angelus leave. "We're gonna go get milkshakes kbye"

Or if you want an extra challenge, I'll make them attack you alongside the tribesmen.

@Hyper: Sounds bloody and fun. But at least 1 person will survive, right?

EDIT: Now that I think about it, we haven't had anyone die in a while. Well, besides Fiona/BJJ, but that was over two months ago.

'We' was pretty obviously the good rollers, and equally as blatantly obviously, 'the enemy' was whoever opposed who (we're your enemy, you're ours, vice versa).

Also if "we" means the good guys, why would the good guys make stuff up about their enemy (opponent) to scare their enemy? That makes zero sense.

I think that the waiting list should be closed, since the game is nearing its climax and resolution soonish.

And also:

There will be no good roll until RDM does the Evil Roll.

We are also thinking about fusing the two parties together, and having the rolls alternate between the my players and RDM's players. That said, the Ban Ali must be defeated first.

Well actua-

No wait, yeah, that's right. The two storylines (not as Good and Evil but more as Good A and Good B; since Good B ended up attacking Good A, I figured it simpler to paint them as Evil) were originally meant to be totally separate up to this point of conflict. But then we had to use first the Blurs, then the Blurs AND the Evil players, as plot devices because honestly, you guys (maybe inadvertently) spent about 80 pages at the compound. That's not even an exaggeration. It was meant to be little more than a pit stop along the way to adventure. I'm still a bit shocked at this because I feel the story up to that point was fairly simple (Follow the allies more or less) Anyways, at this point, most of the allied forces we started off with are way ahead of you guys.

Or at least their bodies are :twisted:

@caek: Yeah... I blame the relatively slow pace. It's hard to really make things stand out as unique when they all seem to blend into one another. I think I've done a good job with changing scenery in the Evil portion of this, but obviously, you guys haven't seen that.

Speaking of the Evil rolls, I'm sure you're all super (read: not at all) curious to see them. When the RTD finishes, I will post them all in a .doc within this thread.

What will become of RTDs after this? I mean, will someone start a new one to continue to develop the story, or will we just have to be stuck in Hyper's? (Not saying it's low quality - it's very well done. It's just the whole "people die even less than in this one" bit and the "freakishly huge waiting list" thing)

Oh, I guess you don't have access to... that site.

If you did, you would know that I'm doing an RTD after this one finishes. There's also the Mecha RTD that Hyper is doing, which will be the third and final installment of these semi-canonical RTDs (Chronological order = 2, Blue, Mecha) But RTD Blue will probably finish up much faster than this one. At the earliest, RTD 2 will be chugging on until Christmas, but at the very latest, it could feasibly last until Q1 of 2011 (January, February, or March) whereas RTD Blue could easily finish in a few weeks.

My "new" RTD is still under heavy work (read: I occasionally come up with funny sounding bosses) and very bare-bones. Meaning, it could go in the direction I've sort of pushed it in, or it could turn around and do something totally different. That's why I'm keeping it completely informal and secret, I don't want to have to keep any promises or live up to any expectations.



I might also do some kind of short "filler" RTD between RTD 2 and RTD E- OH WHOOPS ALMOST SAID THE NAME. (Which could also change :D )

I want to do another RTD in the style of this one - I like the lack of retardedly powerful superpowers - but I'd like to be a mostly-melee kinda person. Unfortunately, there isn't enough time for me to re-join if I die, and I don't think it'd be very plot-nice if I asked if I could kill myself, to come back as someone else.
