EVENTS:

Eigla walks closer to the Priestess, until the altar is no longer between them. She can now see the woman clearly, and- Well.

She seems to have no legs to speak of. Instead, her body grows on the tip of a long, fleshy tentacle protruding from a hole in the floor. She looks at you with those shiny, welcoming blue eyes, and you realise she has no face under her cowl, just a mass of squirming flesh and larvae, under a thin layer of pale skin. It takes some effort not to gag, especially as she brings you into a warm, enthusiastic hug.

Priestess: "To hear such words from you... It brings a tear to my eye. Ever since we first met, so long ago... I knew you were destined for greatness. You did not disappoint.

The others will bring you your sword and holy vestments soon. Until then, there is one more gift I would like you to have. The master's and mine's own flesh and blood, turned into your own. Will you accept it, my beloved Eileen?"

EVENTS:

The priestess pauses for a short time, leading Rosa to WORRY PROFUSELY.

She then smiles.

Priestess: "It had been so long since I'd seen one so selfless. When you are ready, I will be waiting. Until then, serve the Master however you may."

She lets go of Eigla, then lovingly pats her head. An acolyte walks closer, bringing a decorated robe, and a small, handwritten book.

Priestess: "Your attire and texts, for when you're on the long pilgrimage. And- Though I mentioned a sword, I see you have two of them, already.

Treat them well. It is not always one receives a second chance to love."

EVENTS:

The priestess smiles one final time, and the party walks out of the church. Klimt decides he needs some physical activity to get his mind off things, and leaves to aid the rebuilding process.

Peggy shivers.

Peggy: "I, I know, right? She's so bloody creepy... I, I really hate nuns..."


Eigla and Rosa walk back to the manor, finding writing supplies stashed in the back of the truck. What will they write?

Dear Chiaki

I sent this letter with one of the garden's messengers for it to be delivered, along with my old clothes as a form of proof.

I hope things are going well at the factory, and you and Desuri are cooperating.
I know you might have an understandable grudge against her, but she is a valuable asset.

We're currently at a snowy village that we stumbled upon while heading for Triplets' Rig.
The undead here are devout followers of the Master, and were in conflict with an undead garden that I had planted ages ago. After some tense negotiations, everyone thankfully reached a peaceful agreement.

The Priestess of this village says that there's already a supply of food coming from the factory - we'll need that greatly increased with meat stuff to feed the garden. It's a voracious eater, but provides warmth to fight off the harsh cold. If you can pack in some extra medical supplies and tools, that'd be great too.

Feel free to write back and have it delivered to the village, I'll try to pick it up whenever I can.

Dear Desuri

I hope you're getting along with Chiaki. I don't mean that sarcastically, by the way. Your skills are valuable, and cooperation with others would give you an edge you would never have when working alone.

You can ask Chiaki about the situation our party just dealt with. There are some biological entities in this area that I think you would take great interest in. Maybe if you got on Chiaki's good side, you can get a new body and check them out for yourself. Or maybe you already have!

Good luck with any (hopefully ethical) research. You are vital in bringing this world out of the ashes.

Fold the letters up, get them in some envelopes or something, write the names of the appropriate recipients, head off to the garden.

EVENTS:

Eigla finishes writing both letters, seals them with wax, then heads on over to the garden. There seem to be much fewer warriors around. The ones that remain ogle her inquisitively.

Garden: "Your plan seems to work. We, are hopeful ot will stay that way."


Meanwhile, Klimt WORKS HARDER. Curie notices this, and LEADS HARDER as well. Emilia, not wanting to be outdone by the other waifu, EMILIAS HARDER.
