Roast Veg wrote: Because you didn't reapply after Hyper said he was officially opening the RtD. Ah okay. Quote: Pilot Name: Combat AI 0.9b Artillery Edition Age: 4 to 5 years. Physical Description:The AI has no physical description, only that it IS the mecha. Back story:
Long before the collapse that destroyed civilization as we know it, this Mecha was under construction at a hidden facility in the Nevada Desert. The AI was being "trained" at the time, and was not yet ready for use. The AI and its mecha was long forgotten since the disaster, until some explorers went to close to the base and activated its automatic defences, bringing the AI Online. With the defences at the base online, the AI went to help defend, finding that the world has long since collapsed, as shown by the lack of any personnel in the facility, explaining why it was not trained for years.
Wandering across the wastes for months, until it finally got mercenary work as a big gun. A very big gun. The only way for this mecha to change its weaponry is to return to a installation with the equipment to remove its primary, and only weapon. As it stands, it will be hard to find said installations, as most have been looted after fierce fighting with their defences.
Mecha Name: Combat Chassis : Artillery/Long Range Edition. Height/Weight: 16 Meters tall, 80 Tons Physical Description: Arachnoid in shape, with a large rail gun spinally mounted. Various symbols on the body work, some from organizations that no longer exist, for example, the US army. Battle scars on the surface of the frame, but nothing extensive. Speakers in some areas, mostly for breaking morale of enemy infantry, and for communicating with the mecha's contractor. A small round hatch that leads into the main body contains a small, tracked robot, equipped with primitive arms, and remote radio controls to be controlled by the AI. It features a primitive on board weapon, the equivalent of a sub machine gun. Classification: Heavy Combat Role: Artillery Primary Weapon: Spinal mounted Rail gun Extra Large. Secondary Weapon: No Secondary, just amped up primary.
Abilities: Arachnoid : Easily handles rough terrain ( I Guess this would remove rough terrain effects?) EMP Shielding : The mech and all its systems are shielded from EMP attack. (Makes Sense)
SuperWeapon: Ejected Hydrogen Fuel Cell. The Mech only has one, ejecting one activates the backup power generator.
Dump me on the waiting list.

Re: Roll to Dodge - Mecha
Rolling.
HighEndNoob Pierre Berguard [5]: This is getting you nowhere. You remember seeing Erroni back a ways, so you head back their to ask where the hell your robot is. "In for repairs. One of the legs just gave out randomly a few hours ago, the whole thing just fell over. Sorry. Head over there with Vlad, help man the defense turrets." "Damn!" Defense turrets are boring. Safe, but boring. Abilities: Inventory: - Field Medical Kit - Field Repair Kit - 9mm Glock Conditions:
Tomaster Vladimír Shurla [5]: "♥♥♥♥! Do you know what the attacking force is like?" "From what I've heard, nothing serious. Just a U-Boat dropping off a few medium land mechs with jump-jets. Looks like just a raiding party, but they really caught us with our pants down." With that answered, you turn around and head down the corridor to the control room. It's a short corridor, ending barely after it starts in a pair of double doors. Pushing them open, you find yourself in a room with every wall covered in shrouded consoles. Looks like you just go up to one, sit down, put the headset on, and go to work. Abilities: Inventory: - Field Medical Kit - Field Repair Kit - 9mm Glock Conditions:
Roast Veg Aark-han [4]: With no other options, you run back to Erroni for help. "I need a cart to get in!" "So find one! I'm not here to babysit you, be a big boy. Walt, Slot 7's an Air, they're gonna need those more than whoever you're taking them to!" Abilities: Inventory: - Field Medical Kit - Field Repair Kit - 9mm Glock - Belt Conditions:
Se7en "Amazigh" [8-1=7]: You take your shirt off and tie it tight around your waist to keep your pants up. It works well enough. You then grab your various things from off the floor, having to dig around under one of the bunks for your repair kit. With that done, you secure them to your bel- Oh. You just carry them for now, since you've got no belt to clip them on to. Abilities: - Cyborg Enhancements Inventory: - Field Medical Kit - Field Repair Kit - 9mm Glock Conditions: - Makeshift Belt (No shirt)
JJA79 James Argus [10]: Mercifully, you see a grease monkey running by with an elevator cart as you arrive at Slot 4, so you flag him down and have him bring the cart. He obliges, and within a minute you're snug in your cockpit. You run through a mental checklist, making sure everything looks good on the cockpit's meters and gauges, then hit the main power switch. A low rumble heads through your mech as it begins booting and the reactor starts to warm up. All goes well until the OS bootup is reached. The screens all switch to the bright green of the FATAL ERROR crash on your mech's OS. "You've got to be kidding me." You jam the Main Power switch and flip the Secondary Computer switch, then settle in for the wait while it boots back up. Pilot Abilities: - Sniper expert (+1 when shooting from long range) Inventory: - Field Medical Kit - Field Repair Kit - 9mm Glock Conditions: - Panic (-1 to actions when in close combat)
Mecha Name: Stinger Weaponry: - Machine Gun - Light Rail Sniper Inventory: - 8 LRS Slugs - 750 .50 rounds Abilities: - Energy Blast [SW] Conditions: - Cold Booting (cannot move Mecha next turn) Status: Arms: OK Legs: OK Torso: OK Etc: PROBLEM -- Error in Primary Computer, Secondary Computer functioning
Tokochiro John Kosloswa [1]: You see the doors to the Mecha Bay up ahead, and keep running straight for them, intending to slam them open when you hit. *WHAM* You hit the doors, which don't budge an inch, and fall to the floor. You forgot that these ones opened OUT of the Bay... Pain... Abilities: Inventory: - Field Medical Kit - Field Repair Kit - 9mm Glock Conditions: - Concussion (-1 to next 3 rolls)
Game Events: The battle outside continues to be very noisy. A salvo of missiles is fired and hits something with a string of small explosions. Everyone in earshot hopes that it was an enemy that got hit.

Way to be observant. Pick a console, sit down and get that headset on, and get to work. Vlad here. Are there any severe threats? And do we know who's attacking us?
