You don't have 5 kinesises. Each point of the star is a different form of energy, so if you had some to release or something, then....

Too tired to fully explain. In a nutshell, active powers can only have a max of 4 stars.

JJ you take on my doppelganger and if what I think will happen, I will have a plan to kill them, If not then you should just retreat or something. btw try to crush him without using any type of matter or moving objects.


so Hyper you mean that Each star is like remaining charges? or that each star is the power level, so that one star in telekinesis let's you do small moving such as 40 Kilos max and stuff like that?

Okay, no longer sleep drunk. Time to explain the new powers-rules.
Some powers have the stars after them as you have seen. Every normally has 4 stars worth of usable, unallocated space in their minds. To use your powers, they need to be in a slot(s). To switch powers around, it takes 1 turn. If a power isn't all the way slotted, then it's completely unusable. Now the fun part.
What's that? 4 slots is too few? I have planned for that! If you need more slots, then you can allocate other mental facilities to your powers, such as different senses, short/long term memory, speech recognition, etc. This lets you go past the original limit, but not without sacrificing a part of your mind to use as more space. If you choose to go back on expanding your slots and want whatever you gave up, then you can switch it back with no penalty.

So basically:
  • Some powers have stars/asterisks, They look like this -> *
  • These powers need these amounts of stars (like energy) to work
  • Everyone gets 4 stars default as a 'mental' skill
  • Only one power can be ready to use at a time
  • To ready a different power it takes one turn
  • If you want more stars, you have to sacrifice a mental ability, like speech, memory, hearing etc
  • You can un-sacrifice your mental abilities with no penalty
  • A power can only be used if it has all the required stars: no 'half-half' powers.
  • However, if you had two powers with two stars, then you can use both at the same time
  • Remember, everything has an exception and whatever the Dice Lord says, goes.

Well, thats what I got from it anyway. Anything wrong with the above?

Minor action >take my emtional control center and make it into 2 or more unallocated asterisks since you said it takes 1 turn to allocate the ABILITY and not the brain functions
