Tell you what, since I'm rolling tomorrow, I'll give you a choice- either you can wait for the group to finish this area, which is meant to be something of an introductory first mission, so that you meet up with all of them, or you can start elsewhere in the universe and do your own thing.

Grasping the end sticking out of her chest with her hands, she slowly tugs on it, feeling pain as it scratches her still tender wound. "Making progress," she mutters through gritted teeth as the blade begins to inch out. A squelching sound accompanies the withdrawal of the blade as it rubs against tissue wet with blood, and a scraping sound as it rubs against her armor. At last, the thing pops free with a final tug and cut. The pain is sharp and the wound is bleeding freely, but it's nowhere near as bad as the initial hit. Glancing up, Aicaya spots the medical kit visible in the hallway past the northern door. "Oh. Game Events As part of the group gathers by the northern door, everyone's attention is drawn to a thudding sound. "Huh?" "Hey, what was that?" "My sensors are still clear..." Nearly simultaneously, the members of the group realize that Ulysses has collapsed. "Ah, shite." Jackson runs over and checks for a pulse- nothing. "♥♥♥♥! Check that medkit for a defibrillator!" John runs into the hall and rips open the medical kit on the wall, seeing several syringes, rolls of bandages, and antiseptic ointment. "Nothing!"Jackson is pumping Ulysses' chest, trying to restart his heart, but to no avail. After a minute, he stops and sighs. "Well, ♥♥♥♥. 'nother man down." Everyone gapes in shock. "Can't believe he survived all that bull♥♥♥♥ just to get a heart attack," Jackson mutters. MAP
