Unless they get a wound that will result in their death if not properly handled, but can be easily regenerated if properly handled. Like the ones you guys have. Take that boomerang thing out, and I'm pretty sure somebody's bleeding to death.

Well, in alpha's case, that's me retconning my reaction to one stupid action- LIFE-THREATENING INJURY- so yeah. In Amazigh's case, he didn't really at all earn that injury, he was just a bit unlucky, so there's that, too.

Bored and slightly jelly of John and Aicaya's recent ether techniques, Jet forms a Vapor Lance between his hands. "I wonder what exactly they did... maybe if I just keep using it, I'll get a different feel for it?" He expands the lance, keeping it between his hands, and an idea pops into his head. "I wonder if..." Jet starts messing around with the shape, building up pressure while making the lance much thinner and compressed, bringing his hands closer together until they're almost touching. The result is a high-pressured, fast-swirling little sphere of water. Vapor and steam emanate from the shape, as the water builds up so much energy and friction that some of it evaporates. "Alright. Let's try this sucker out." Stepping towards an innocent wall, Jet stretches his arms out- left palm facing up, right palm facing down, and wrists touching- then closes his hands on the swirling sphere. The water ball bursts with such force that Jet feels his arms shoot back as if from recoil, and a thin, bright white-blue water beam, half-liquid and half-steam, shoots towards the wall at insane speed. When the mist clears a little, the damage becomes clear: a jagged scar on the wall marks the path traveled by the beam, and even at a distance it's evident that it's fairly deep. "Neato. Aicaya rests a little more and then takes a peek at the blade to see if it could removed. She gingerly tugs on the end that isn't lodged in her chest and feels a dull pain as it pulls on tissue inside her. She tugs some more and still only feels the dull pain.
