Woot, woot!

This day should be a holiday. Maybe the official, "Dice Masters Get Their Asses in Gear Day."

EVERYONE ROLL WITHOUT HIM IF HE DOESN'T ACTION BY FRIDAY.

Everyone should roll at least 1 thing on Fridays, would seem like a good way to keep consistent activity going.

Post Re: FG Lounge
Yoman's departure got me thinking. A dark kind of thinking, but a thinking nonetheless.

I feel like the Forum Games people are a dying species. Not only that, but we're beginning to have too many DM's and not enough players. This means that people who want to create new games are going to have difficulty finding people who want to play them. I know all of you are more than willing to participate, but we don't exactly have a large playerbase, and not all of us are going to be interested in every game.

I feel like we need to spread the RtD culture. Need to bring in a new generation, so to speak. And if this forum isn't gaining enough members, I thought about a forum migration. But that leads to another problem:

Community quality. Larger community = crappier community, and I know it all too well. The reason that DRLFF is great and everyone feels at home (or at least I do) is because the community is small.

So what do? Maybe I'm just forseeing doom, but I get a scary, foreboding sense that our happy little roleplaying community is going to meet a lonely, unhappy end.

... Halp.

That was the point of Hell Yeah Roll to Dodge actually.
Provide an easy to get into RtD experience that could draw new people in, without any fears of larger more complicated games or a bunch of complicated lore and backstory you need to know.
It kinda failed, since 90% of my players were already FG people.

Post Re: FG Lounge
i plan to remain at this forum forever and sign up for every rtd i possibly can

so that's one slot accounted for at the very least

EDIT: although of course with such a restricted playerbase, there's the problem of metaphorical RTD inbreeding

Torrent, that is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

I am about to become the kind of person who wears rings.

I'm goin' r% all the way. The new system that I'm coming up with is going to use a 100-sided die (or 2d10) so that would be the best. Plus, you can always use the r% as an r10, since it is essentially 2r10.
