As he says this, he raises his arms at a wide angle and activates the lasers, then sweeps quickly inward, carefully watching both laser streams as they move across the room- he sees the beam on the left break for an instant as it moves across something, and so does Ulysses, who fires a supercharged shot from his Tesla Rifle with a deafening bang that almost disorients D's sensors. They see the silhouette of the enemy as electricity courses through it for a half a second- four-legged, about the size of a small horse- but no details are visible. D finishes the sweep and quickly moves back behind the counter. "My sensors were increasingly chaotic during that maneuver. That's quite mean, and that's coming from a guy who made a pilot who rolled a 1 eject the one half of the ship.
It keeps the challenge up on the players
Recommend treating Aicaya soon. Prevents potential complications from arising like drowning in her own blood.
Not a good way to go. I'm placing a estimate on somewhere between 20 to 30% blood loss. Definitely not above 30, because she'd be in shock, but it is possible for substantially less to have been done.
God damn I should make a medic as a character.
EDIT : You know what, I will make a medic.

Knowing how much you guys will get shot at, it'd be for the best if there was a medic on the team to save your bacon.
Trying to think of a defensive ability is actually quite hard.
Currently I have Medic ( Some people will ignore the medic due to war time conventions, as long as he does not fire back. This does not include everyone, and some people may ignore the conventions. ) but that just seems ridiculous at this point.
I don't suppose I can trade my defensive ability for a another non combat?

Medisheild: Harder to hit while healing and/or carrying wounded comrades.
