Hmm, you're too far away to attack it. The obvious solution is to fling the top of your stranded platform towards the demon.
Wait.
What?
Before your logic can intervene, the top few feet of stone on the platform has been ripped off, and is now flying towards the Demon, with you on top. You fight against the whipping air, and manage to get to the edge of the rock before it smashes into the Demon. Instead of being pulverized against the bloody thing, you're sent barreling across the main platform. Oh, and you pissed it off more.



CaveCricket48 (Kurt D. Hopkins) [3]:
"Die!"
You stab your dagger against the glassy part of the Demon, intending to impale it from the inside.
*tink*

Your dagger is so low on energy it can't pierce through the Demon's... crystallized flesh?



FoiL [2-1=1]:
No, you think you'll continue being a ♥♥♥♥♥... Yeah, that sounds nicer.



Barnox [3]:
You gather up all the shadows you can, and...
Uh.
Shadows?
You come up pretty empty. Somehow, you've managed to drain the shadows of everything nearby.



Amazigh [5]:
"Idea!"
You use your super speed to launch yourself off the side of your platform, then teleport back up onto the other side, and run off again, this time faster. And again. And again. And again.
And then, you teleport to the front of the Demon, and deliver one hell of a punch to its glassy stomach area. It cracks and shatters quite loudly, dumping about a 2 foot sphere's worth of broken obsidian-looking material all over the ground. Despite your toughened arms, several shards slice through and embed themselves in your arm.
Well, at least you did some damage, since the stupid thing is looking quite pissed now. And is bleeding what appears to be black smoke.

Game Events: The Demon, now angry from being wounded, opens its largest mouth towards the Angeluses. Deep in its throat, a blazing glow begins to surface, before emerging and forming into a sphere in the middle of its mouth. The sphere grows slightly larger by the second, and the chains binding the Demon begin arcing electricity onto the sphere. A few cracks are visible upon the chains.
"He's gonna get loose..."
"I can tell, just hold him!"
Before anything else can happen, the the sphere of energy hovering in the Demon's mouth discharges in a burning orange-white beam towards the Angeluses. Then, it slows down.
The beam, and the air around it, is distorting and slowing, getting sucked back towards the Demon. The Demon is also being pulled into itself, and within a matter of seconds, everything that was around the Demon, including its attack and the Chains, have vanished into a single point of space.
"It... It collapsed in on itself?"
"What the ♥♥♥♥ just happened?!"
"The density of power around the Demon got too high, and it damaged the fabric of the Archipelago... For now, that thing is gone. But this means the Archipelago is in much worse shape than I had predicted... We need to get out of here, it's no longer stable."

Jackson is on a Boulder platform.
Amazigh is on the Log platform.
dhart is on the remains of a random platform.
FoiL, Tomaster, Kurt, Barnox, Die, and Joy are on the main platforms with the Demon.

"That. Was. AWESOME! Now what?" Get up. Ask whats next.
Edit: "Sure Brochacho. Darn thing didn't do jack for me anyway." Hand Tomaster the orb while asking whats next.
