anyways, now that we have an actual GM, I was wondering if I should be bland and make a protagonist to fight alongside my fellow soldiers (That seem to like dying...) or make some kind of antagonist, to fight against them (and probably die very quickly)?

you can make either, but there are some thing that you should know;
1: nobody will be dying unless they do something really stupid or get some really bad luck. There won't be any YOUR ARM GOT SHOT U DIE FROM BLOOD LOSS or U TRIP AND CRACK YOUR HEAD YOU DIE etc.

2: if you make a protagonist, then you will be put on the waiting list as normal (if you are not already) and you will have to wait for someone to die, obviously.

3: if you make an antagonist (IE a boss or bad guy) then you MIGHT be put into the game, but i think there would be a different method of stating your actions, since you don't want the good guys to 'hear you thinking'.

Name: Asfer
Age: 21
Equipment: MAF-EX103C Exo-suit (Powered by ultra-compact generator), rear cargo container (1/2 cubic metre of storage space), ultra compact generator unit (recharged quickly by light), sensor node on Left Shoulder (infra-red, night vision, targeting camera), various types of shells for 40mm cannon (explosive, fragmentation, smoke, flash) that are interchangeable with grenade launcher rounds, spare rounds for vulcan.

Primary Weapon: Mk.III 40mm revolver cannon (the barrel is 1.2m long), held in right arm, stored in cargo container when not in use. 6-round capacity, manually reloaded by exposing back of chambers and inserting new rounds.

Secondary Weapon: Mk.II 5.7x28mm vulcan (functions like the FN P90), draws ammo directly from 250-round ammo drum on back of shoulder.

Tertiary Weapon: Bladed shield; shield is made of ERA (Electric Reactive Armor, essentially vaporizes most bullets) with surface area of 30x60cm , powered by battery unit, mounted on left arm (leaving left hand free to use), 30cm blade retracted when not in use.

Abilities:
-Strength (+1 to any action requiring alot of strength, such as lifting heavy things)
-3rd sense (+1 to anything requiring good detection skills, like scanning for enemies)

Role: Artilleryman

Backstory: The pilot, in this case, is not as important as the suit. The Mobile Armored Frame EXpirimental 103 Cannon Exosuit is a prototype combat suit designed for military purposes, produced by an unnamed company. The suit itself uses rods and nodes across the user's body, giving the pilot a better chance of not breaking any bones from impacts, and the suit also lends increased strength to the pilot, enabling a bare frame to lift up to one metric tonne. The suit itself drains a large amount of energy, powered by an ultra-compact generator unit, that can also recharge using either artificial or natural light. The suit is also patched with various panels of armor that protect vital components such as the torso, legs and arms. This model in particular (103C) is designed for rear-line support fire, artillery, and carrying supplies. The left shoulder is equipped with a sensor array that includes targeting sensors for both guns, as well as infra-red and night vision for increased flexibility. It is equipped with a 40mm cannon that can fire either dedicated rounds of a wide variety, or conventional grenade rounds used by most grenade launchers. The right shoulder mounts a vulcan for close-range encounters, with performance similar to the FN P90. Since it is belt-fed by a 250-round drum, there is no need to reload until all 250 rounds are spent, allowing a continuous stream of fire until the barrel overheats. The shield mounted on the left arm uses electric armor, rendering most bullets ineffective if they hit it, and the shield also houses a blade for hand-to-hand combat. The suit carries with it a back-mounted cargo container that is capable of carrying the cannon, as well as some extra supplies. The company figures that this would be an excellent way to gather field-data on what they think is the next generation of modern warfare.

I think that the antagonist should PM the GM, so that the GM knows what's going on without letting the protagonists know.

That's partially correct, wiffles. Here's an example situation:

Dice Lord: Sam is in an alleyway, surrounded by armed guards. They all have their guns pointed at you, and don't seem very happy.

PLAYER: Ok, i wanna > Do a spin like something out of the Matrix and fire my dual pistols at everyone

Dice Lord: Ok PLAYER, you roll a 1. Sam tries to spin around and pull out his duallies in one motion, but mixes it up, drops the pistols, sprains his ankle and topples over. You looked like a complete retard there Sam. THe guards laugh at you and one pulls out some handcuffs. If you want to use your legs then you get a -1.

PLAYER: Awwwwww that sucked. Ok, umm lets go with > Sit up and punch that guy in the balls, then grab his gun and start shooting. dont use feet at all.

Dice Lord: Ok, I'm not doing this on purpose, but your just unlucky. You rolled another 1. The guard you try to punch is wearing groin-protection, so you just punched a piece of thick metal. Ouch. -1 to your hand. Another guard see your reaction and fires a few shots at you. You are now bleeding from a major chest wound. -1 to almost any action.

PLAYER: noooooooooo FFFFF! Dammit! > Call for help!

Dice Lord: 2-1 = 1 Because of your chest wound, you only manage a slight gurgle and choke on your own blood. Sam dies. bad luck PLAYER. :(

So wiffles, if you roll a 1 then something bad happens. roll another 1 then another bad thing happens. and so on. i guess you could say that all your actions 'stack'.
(btw, Sam got really unlucky. thats 1 chance in 216 to roll that cruddy.)

@Point.blank: I was thinking PM me, but i wanted everyone's opinion. so we'll go with the PMing then. (Next post = new rule)

NEW RULE:
If you are playing an Antagonist, also known as BAD GUY or BOSS, then you must PM all of your actions to the current Dice Lord / GM / whatever I'm called. You do have the choice to post your actions in the topic, but that will tell all the Protagonists (Good Guys) what you want to do, and the Dice Lord / GM will roll with it. (Pun intended).

If you want to directly speak with the Good Guys, then feel free to post in the topic.
Please note that there may be only 1 Antagonist (bad guy) at a time, due to complexity issues with the rolling.

Any questions / queries / qomments?

His mind is clouded with thoughts, remembering the reason for this downfall, his eyes burn with sheer vengeance for Damien.
He gets to his feet, weakened from the ordeal, goes to the medic, who is shocked by his revival, gets himself patched up and follows the group.
