EVENTS:

Peggy: "You- You idioooot..."

Peggy punches his chest meekly, then breaks down crying completely, stopping only to gag and vomit every few moments.

Meanwhile, Klimt and Eigla focus on taking care of Emilia. The sharkgirl holds her upside-down by her feet, while Klimt does his best to push her diaphragm up and dislodge whatever is left on her lungs. After several agonizing minutes, she finally spits out one final lump of maggot-infested manure, and regains consciousness.

Emilia: "M-master Klimt... Rosa... You- You came back for me...

I love you so much..."

She seems too exhausted to speak after that, wheezing through the many holes in her respiratory tract, but awake.

EVENTS:

Emilia doesn't say anything, but a faint hint of a smile appears on her muck-encrusted face.

Rosa and Eigla step outside the room for a moment, looking at both sides of the corridor.

To the left, there's the stairway you were going to before the conveyor incident. The way down has collapsed, but you could still continue to climb up.

To the right, the catwalk goes deeper into the south wing of the building. A large, stiff figure wearing black-and-yellow armor is trundling away down the corridor. It stops in front of one of the doors, then presses a button on the wall and waits.

EVENTS:

The group decides to head down the right hallway, deeper into the southern wing. There's several bulkhead doors along the wall, most with small viewing windows.

There's storerooms, some empty, some filled to the brim with filth and rot, others containing dormant zombies.
Large rooms filled with noisy pumps and pipes, moving unknown liquids to unknown destinations.
A nursery, where dozens of large sows seem to be giving birth semi-continuously, under the care of surprisingly clean undead orderlies.
A huge, room-sized grinder, chopping up large carcasses that are being dropped from a hole on the ceiling.

You arrive at the figure's position. It is a large, muscular zombie, of clearly different make than the others you've met so far. Its head is a jumble of camera lenses, flashlights and armor, and its robotic arms are more akin to giant multitools than human limbs.

The engineer zombie is looking fixedly at a cargo elevator's door, waiting for it to arrive. A thin laser beam marks its field of view, and it doesn't seem to notice your approach. The corridor continues on past it, in case you'd rather let it be on its way.
