Game Events Directly ahead of the group, not even five feet away, is a solid object- some kind of desk or counter- behind which the far wall is faintly visible two or three more feet away. "C'mon, lessgo! Get over this and we'll be able to fire at 'em!" He helps Aicaya climb gently over the counter and onto the floor, and Ulysses helps Mike do the same, while the rest of the group gathers around Jet with their weapons out and ready. The skittering is still be audible, and there's a new sound- a sort of low, intermittent growling, hardly loud enough to hear. "Alright, you three, geddover here!" Jet, John, and D all hop the counter, too, and Jackson's flashlight flickers on now that he's no longer carrying Aicaya. The bright beam catches a few of the enemies off-guard, and the entire group sees snatches of two or three of them- fur, metal, blood- for perhaps a second. Jackson sweeps the beam from side to side in vain as the creatures back up into the dark. "Stay low... they could fire one of those blades that hit Aicaya. Maybe if we all shoot, we could 'least wound a few." MAP

=NOTE= Not every question mark is an enemy... what you're seeing is representative of D's sensors- there are a few rapidly moving enemies and he can't pinpoint their positions, so he only has a general location of where the enemies are.

My guess on Alpha gamers condition is that, due to the amount of blood loss and the position of the injury (Centre of the chest), he either has a punctured liver or the blow went deep enough into his body to hit a artery near his spine.
May I recommend a medivac?
EDIT : Done some thinking. It's also possible the heart has been hit. Definitely recommend medivac.

Technically correct. The bulk of the liver is in the abdomen (Stomach = Organ, not a body location.), but some of it is in the chest.
Take a look at the diagram bellow to see what I mean.

Yeah, the wound is probably in the liver-ish area. Definitely not the heart, however (I'm not that much of a ♥♥♥♥) and his spine's fine. He won't outright die of his injuries as is, so long as he gets the wound patched up.

Ah, I thought the blade went into the gap between the liver and the heart, and could have hit some of the arteries near the back, which would've been bad. He'd have a one in three chance of surviving a stab to the heart, but he'd definitely want to go to a hospital.
But with the squad two guys down, I recommend leaving the facility and taking your wounded with you.
