Roll 21
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Game Events
The sun is setting, and the following actions are lit by a soft amber glow.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

TorrentHKU\John= 8
The main square seems like a nice place, and due to the time of day it's nice and quite. You begin to read.
Spell gained!
- Basic Metal Alchemy!
The first chapter or so is relatively easy to read, and you have learn't most basic spells and principles in under a hour, any further concentration is impossible however, Henry has stumbled into the square looking quite confused, and after giving you a short nod, falls into a deep sleep next to you.

Huntsman\Henry= 15
You manage to snap out of it, and after finding John back at the main square you sit next to him, fall asleep, and dream.

You see desert, with 9 figures, and a tomb, with a horror of an impossible magnitude. Next, another 9 figures, the same ones? At least three of them are, and a war, with many soldiers fighting a hoard of creatures, the same darkness can be seen again but it's looking at you now. Suddenly you see a ship among the stars, a shark on an elevator? Now you're at a city with spires that sink into the ground, and 3 giants fighting gods. Now a man in a coat, and a fairy, it sees you.

Waking up, the sun has started to sink, and the town is filled with an amber light as well as shouts and screams of a riot of some sorts. John has nudged you awake and seems mildly concerned by the shouts.

maart3n\Mulch= 17
Browsing the shop you find little that interests you, save for a very angry fairy in a bottle, which you managed to score for only 2 gold from a bargain bin.
Suddenly Misha burst out from behind a display, causing you to reel back in mock terror, almost breaking a 200,000:G glass automaton.
"Come on Mulch, most of the others will be running past here soon!"
You then get pulled out of the store and find your self running along with most of the others, in fact the only ones who are absent are John and Henry.

TheKebbit\Iron Mauler= 19
~~~~~~~~~~&~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nighthawk\Mir Swiftclaw= 10
~~~~~~~~~~&~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nonsequitorian\Ulysses= 11

"Oy, it's Mir. Good to see you; do you know who the ████ that man in the black robe was?"
The thugs spin as the door swings open, and Mir simply replies with a shrug. They all know what you want to happen next, and Iron slams his glass down on the head of the first thug. The two other thugs merely smile, even though they're seemingly outmatched, it is then Iron and Mir notice the small emblem on their belts, and the fact the same emblem is on around 50% of the bars occupants, the fight begins.
Meanwhile, somewhere nearby, Ulysses ushers the children closer to the back wall, theres no way he could fight his way through that many people, let alone with the children. The mystery girl is pushed back next to Ulysses after her vicious assault, gasping, it seems like she used up most of her energy. As they get pushed further and further back on the stage, it looks likes its curtains for them and the kids!
"Heh, well... this might be it, names Arturia by the way, it was a pleasure to fight by your side..."
After a particularly vicious kick by Mir, a bar combatant flies through the thin back walls of the bar and the tavern, narrowly missing Ulysses and the children. Thinking quick, Ulysses throws Arturia over his shoulder, scoops up the kids with his other arm, and leaps through into the bar, and out the front door. At the same time, Iron and Mir see this as a great opportunity to retreat as well, and charge through the Taverns Cultists. Chaos ensues as the Gang members and Cultist try to fight their way through each other, and settle for simply fighting each other.
As both parties sprint through the streets, they link back up on a main road, and before they know it a confused Mulch and a smiley Misha is running with them.
I seem you found my friend then? It looks like your making friends already Arturia! WHAHAhaha~!"
Arturia throws Misha an icy glare before she slips off Ulysses shoulder and hits the ground running.
"Well, looks like you guys have had some fun, lets drop these kids off at the City Watch in the town square before we head out, OK?"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Game Events
Everyone finally meets up at the town square. Meet and greet each other and the newcomer while Misha looks for a place to stay.
Also: I'll try to now roll every Saturday, so you have a week to post your actions before you're skipped!
"Found this here fairy, probably too angry to constantly tell me to listen, so I'm Cool with it."
Ask Ulysses why he adopted so many kids.
"I threatened a REALLY thin-looking guy at a bar and he gave me this."
*holds up the black poison*
"Speaking of which. THE ████ HAPPENED IN THAT BAR?"
Attempt to make sense of the attempted child sacrifice ritual/gang war.
Roll 22
Game Events
With the kids safely deposited at an orphanage, the party follows Misha to a tavern, which is neither shady nor filled with cultists.
Average= 14
As everyone sits down around a large table, Misha stands and speaks to the group.
"Well that was exciting wasn't it?! I hope you all got what you were looking for, although I must say Mr Mauler and John-chan scored really well!" Firstly I'll introduce Arturia, she's a master swordsman and a childhood friend of mine. I knew she was in the area, so I asked her to meet up with you while I was busy.
Almost getting me killed might I add, If it wasn't for those two gentlemen we would have been killed."
She bows her head to Iron and Mir while Ulysses sips his drink and sulks, starting to regret sitting next to her.
What happened there anyway?
John lowers his pint, and Mulch stops tapping on the side of the fairy's jar, both seemingly wanting an explanation as well.
Misha asked me to keep an eye on you guys while she went about her business, so I went in the direction the majority of you left in, and stumbled across Ulysses and the whole pile of trouble he got himself in. I confess I underestimated the amount of combatants of the room, and we were both pinned to the back wall with the children, but as fortune would have it, the back wall of our tavern was the same back wall of the bar you two (IM and MS) were fighting in, and when they broke through it, we were given an escape route... how did you get into a fight with that many men anyway?
Mir is completely absorbed in his rocks, and Iron looks away, pretending not to hear. Attention is fortunately drawn away by another figure approaching the table, and taking a seat next to Misha.
"Hello, I assume you are the adventurers I've heard all about."
A young man has spiky brown hair, blue eyes, and is covered with a large array of hightech magically powered gear.
"There you are! Took your time Erik, I was getting worried."
She crosses her arms and frowns.
"About me? When you're gallivanting about with a bunch of young men, how did you run into them anyway?"
This time its everyones turn to ignore the question, and Eriks questioning look is dropped almost immideiatly.
"...Anyway, while everyone was running about, I was busy preparing our next adventure!"
She pulls away her cloak to reveal snug leather armor complemented with desert survival gear, including an old fashioned Britonian explorers hat.
"I have armor and gear for the rest of you as well! As well as some camels, and supplies along with~"
She continues to list items and gear to a rather stunned group of people, and is only stopped when Erik intervenes.
"Wait wait wait, where are we going?"
"To the heart of the Arida Mortem Desert!!!"
The tavern immediately descends into a stunned silence, followed shortly by flurries of hushed whispers.
"Bu- but, that place is a death trap!"
The party's nerves are rattled by how quickly Arturia drops her calm demeanor.
"Hm?"
"No-ones even skirted it and lived to tell about it, it has giant Sand Spiders, giant Sand Scorpions, giant Sand Worms, its littered with ruins brimming with death traps and Grues...
"So thats why you dragged me into this."
Everyone turns to Erik.
"It won't work, even if I managed to scrounge up enough money to make the ship itself, there is still the question of Levistones, making them is a lost art, and the chances of finding someone who ca-"
"AHA!!!"
Everyone turns their heads once again, this time to face Mir, who is triumphantly holding up a brand new, lightning resistant Levi-Stone.
"...I assume the frame of the ship is already under construction then?"
"Its already finished."
...
...
.......
"You're scary, you know that?"
"WHAhahaha~!!!"
For the next couple of hours, Misha speaks with her old friends, not dropping her excited and confident look.
Meanwhile the parties moral is dropping with each round of drink that is bought for 'the doomed adventurers'.
Eventually a very drunk Misha is lead back to her room by Arturia, and Erik gives a slight bow to the group before excusing himself for the night. A tipsy Arturia returns, and announces to the the party.
"Welp, we're screwed."
Grabbing Ulysses drink straight from his hand, she continues.
"Misha wants to open the tomb of the cursed one, so, I mean, we are scrreeeeewwwwwwd."
After downing the whole pint she giggles for a bit, collapses, and then passes out, leaving the six to their own devices.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Game Events
The adventurers are still at their table, with an unconscious Arturia, Mirs shiny new Levi-stone and a still-very-angry fairy.

"If there's loot in there I'm in."
Ask Erik if he has any magical-mechanical things for sale.

EDIT: Didn't notice that....
Eat properly for once.

Fail Flail, I just wanna say you're VERY good at this.

I can imagine this ending in shenanigans.

Oh, it will always. Thanks to the whacked-out rules of classic RtD, proper gentlemen become quite the opposite when they roll low...

You fall forward trying to pick Arturia up, landing your face square on her chest. This also wakes her up.
